We've decided to organize a tournament for Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep, and this thread will explain the tournament, serve as a sign-up sheet, and later display the brackets, winners, etc. If this is successful, we will host more tournaments in the future.

 

Guide

In order to play Birth by Sleep with online multiplayer, you will first need to follow this guide (http://www.gamesrada...h-ad-hoc-party/, or this here if you prefer a video) in order to set up Ad Hoc Party. This will allow you to play online using your PS3's Internet connection (so you must have a PS3 with Internet!) If you have any trouble setting this up, please let us know and we'll help you out.

 

Rules

1. The tournament will be a knockout tournament, with each match a 1v1 game.

2. You will be using Versus Mode in the Mirage Arena.

3. Both players may agree on a ruleset for the game. If a ruleset cannot be agreed upon, then the following default settings will be used for the match: "Random Command Deck".

 

Sign-ups

Please post in this thread if you wish to participate in the tournament. Only the first 8 people will be allowed entry, however, if we get enough interest then we may open the tournament up to 16 places! There are 16 places, and once these fill up, the tournament will begin. So please post below saying "I want to join".

I'm unfamiliar with Adhoc so I'll figure out how to use it before signing up. Btw, it says it can use bluetooth headset so can/should we use a headset?

As for American/European versions playing together, honestly, I'm not sure. We'll have to just see how it goes and hope for the best.

i did some research and it seems it doesnt matter which version of the game you have ,but if anyone wants to participate it would help to state if he has the american or european version

ah it has to be wired cant be wireless that blows other than that i would join this sounds like a fun idea hopefully they will have something like this in DDD and we could have a tourny as well but in DDD it will be over wi-fi and not just local

In order to play with different regions (US, PAL, JPN, etc.) you can play with people outside of your country, but it is as follows: You have a US and PAL ad-hoc To play together you will need the same ad-hoc version. You can get both versions, all you have to do is have 2 PSN accounts (different regions) to download both ad-hoc party's and then you can just start the one you need on your standard account, because downloads are available on both accounts

 

i already have a usa psn account,if you are from europe or japan and you want to play with people from other regions all you have to do is make a new user and a psn account depending on the region that you want to play
