I totally overpaid for this game and was able to get it 100% complete in under 60 Hours. I was furious that it only took me 18 hours to beat the story. The only thing i liked about this game was that it introduced me to the command battle system(didnt have Psp) and that it had different battle modes(turn based and where ur runnin in Wonderland). I also liked that u had a free roam mode. i hated not having that in days.

I'm not saying that this game is bad i'm just saying that it wasnt really necessary to make a full game for them to tell u that Xehanort was alive again and that Sora had to save the other main characters. They could've just put that towords the beginning of the next one. I hope DDD doesnt turn out to be like this.

  • Nope, I loved that game. Days takes the crown for worst KH game in my book.

  • Me post time.   In the KH series, it's been the typical hack-slash magic spam game. And today, it still is. But Recoded, while it's not the best in the series, it's one of the most unique game of th

i liked it, it was so nice to play in the train or while sitting in the university <3

my least favourite one is CoM (..)

hm.....i can't remember an instance where i thought "omg, this game SUCKS!" There was that one Kingdom Hearts game that came out for cell phones in 2004-05ish that had sora stuck in a nightmare....yeah, i thought that one was the worse one in the series.

no, days was the worst KH but it had an good story like Re: Coded

What why? they have the SAME exact same graphics except days had a lot better story that was very original xD.

Are you serious?! The worst KH game is obviously CoM, not Re:CoM, the gameboy advanced version...

my least favourite one was Chain of Memories, which was still pretty good in my books. Overall it probably has the worst story, which i find is still a good story, however it's gameplay i find better that COM.

umm, you just said Chain of Memory's gameplay was better than Chain of Memories. And that it had the worst story, isn't it usually considered to be very good story wise but the worst gameplay wise?

This is the worst game, by far.

Shitty gameplay and a story that could've been told at the end of KH2.

I was talking about recoded again, sorry for not clarifying, I meant the Re:coded has better gameplay than COM, but COM has a better story than re:coded

You might know this already judging by your post but for those that didn't know Nomura actually was going to have the letter that Mickey sent be read at the end of kh2.

it was okay

Well I GUESS it is but its still a good game I mean the gameplay and combat was fun but story FIRETRUCK THAT and well it wasnt as good as 358s

I think the game is okay but its not exactly how I imagine it would be.

I hated Chain of Memories. Reasons why:

  • Graphics were so-so.
  • Recycling worlds. NOT A SINGLE NEW DISNEY-RELATING WORLD. DXXXX
  • Lack of original characters. We see Kairi only ONCE during this game.
  • Olympus Coliseum. 'Nuff said.
  • Level-up system.
  • Mostly solo. SQUARE ENIX, BRING BACK THE PARTY SYSTEM!
  • Reuse of Intro Music. Yes, I understand that since Utada quit, its been difficult, but Square had better get their stuff together about the music. (I do love it, though, its just over-used)
  • Overall, just KH1 on GBA minus a few worlds.
Weird how with a few quick changes makes this a complaint about Chain of Memories...

But... uh.. the gameplay is worse...

Really? Their really quite similiar except in Re:coded you had the limit breaks. But except for that, are you talking about the leveling system? If so,thats the leveling up system not the actual GAMEPLAY.

RE:Coded uses a proximity based combat system, like all of the other KH games. In Days your combos can be completed no matter what, and that leads to targeting issues.

And the command system they stole from BBS are far better than the panel system of Days.

The leveling systems are actually fairly similar, I like them both.

Well I don't know what to say then,I remember the gameplay being not that different.I actually dunno why people don't like the panel system.I guess it goes along with everyone's dislikes and likes, its their personal taste.

I don't think so at all. CoM and Re:CoM were a lot less enjoyable to me and had way more flaws. If I wouldn't be a total sucker about everything Twilight Town-related I'd say even Days (especially the combat -- though the camera was superior to Re:Coded's) is a better candidate for "worst game of the series"

Even without keeping in mind what Coded was, how it originated and all that, I was pretty satisfied with Re:Coded as a game. It's nothing to go crazy about, but for what it is, I think it's fairly good. The story is simple to follow for everyone for once, the (translated, can't talk for the original) dialogue is fun to read and has quite a bit of humour. The game is very self-aware, if that's the right way to express this.

It's packaged really well. You can jump in and jump out. It's a proper portable game, with all its negative and positive points. While I've been relying on pity-hits in the Avatar Sector, it's a really nice thing to just play for 15 minutes on the train or something and then put it away. It's customisable through the matrix' cheats at any point, so if you haven't played the game for a while and just boot it up out of boredom, you won't be frustrated playing a 0%HP Critical LV1 run just because you felt up to the challenge when you first started playing.

The combat is rather smooth. A lot more reliable than Days was. The different commands are a bit bold, but they execute very well. It never felt as stiff as BBS felt at times; it was a lot closer to KH2 than anything else yet (not counting 3D here), so that's a big plus for me.

I can see how the lack of a full-blown KH story and the reuse of worlds can strike people as odd. Even some of the criticism regarding the gameplay itself I can perfectly understand, but I had a lot of fun with this game. I guess for casual fans, or all-out fans who expected something different this might not be as easy as it was to me. I can see how people would put this as the "worst game" or "least good game", but definitely have to disagree.

At first, Kingdom Hearts IS the best game! xD

But RE:Coded is definitely not my favorite game!

There are only the same worlds again and again..

So it's a bit boooring and I really don't like the Sector System.

In my opinion it's not soooo bad but also not the best game xD

-> yes it's the least awesome game xD

im still playing coded right now but i can definitely say its not the worst game :( i still rlly dislike re:com simple because of the card system; the plot was really the only thing that kept me playing the game tbh

coded isnt...bad, but it is pretty unnecessary lmao i am pretty annoy that i basically played kh1 all over again but it was enjoyable, it makes you want to anticipate the (hopefully) future games

Too be honest I never played. it.

Would you mind to elaborate how this moves the topic forward? I can't help but feel like I'm missing something. "Too" and the additional full stop made me suspicious, so I figured it was some kind of meme I'm not getting, but my research yielded no results.

Sorry for the inconvenience.

Its okay,

What I meant to say is that I never played kh Re com. So i have no reason to say its my least favorite.
