I'm one of those people who started hating it after Misty left the show and who cringes every time a new girl enters the scene. But that's just me...

Yeah, the anime is really annoying, especially since Ash never ages after having a short (I think there are actually 2, I dont remember) where Ash says "This is the one year anniversery since our adventure first started!" to Pikachu. It's been a year...but I'm still ten. I mean, what the heck, does he explore the whole place in only a month? And why do they have a 10 year old wandering around the world randomly anyway?

It's always interesting to have new Pokemon games, though. Some of the newer pokemon will often make me facepalm--in fact, a majority of them do--but there are some cool ones that come out once in a while. None of them ever really seemed as cool as Charizard, Blastoise, Venesaur, and Mew in my opinion though.

The games are awesome. The Anime is horrible, and I mean HORRIBLE. It started out ok, but then the second gen started... and it was not as good.

I like how people complain about there being too many Pokemon. If they are the animals of their world, then there should be way more. Seriously, think of all the animals in our world. Do we have too many? They just need to get new designers, cause the ones they have are obviously out of ideas. Also, the Unova Pokemon were still better than most Sinnoh Pokemon. Except Garbador, that thing should have never existed, EVER.

The anime does suck, and it has sucked since Sinnoh started. Black and White is an improvement over what Sinnoh brought though.

The games are amazing. If the next game has all the awesome features that B/W and HG/SS brought, then there is no doubt that it will be the best Pokemon game to ever grace the planet.

Finally, they need to stop making Pokemon specifically for events that never come out. Seriously, the Azure Flute was never released. Just enough with the event only Pokemon.

I think the games are still pretty good. I hate Unova with a passion but I really love the other games. I can see why someone would hate the anime since Sinnoh sorta..... destroyed some of the lovable things.

Man, I must say I was really upset when Misty left and I watched the anime a little after that, but when their voices changed I gave up. The new dub almost make my ears bleed. Unova is actually my favorite region so far - I like the majority of the Pokemon [Not that fond of the ice cream one, Trubbish and Gothita or whatever, their names escape me] but I thought they were quite creative with most of the Pokemon. I adored the storyline and characters too. It was a major step forward for Pokemon in my eyes, I despised Sinnoh so much, I thought all of the Pokemon looked like utter garbage and they had ruined it. All the other games are alright, though. I just really disliked Sinnoh lol, but everyone has that region they hate.

I still have a love for Pokemon. Sure, it's gotten tacky over the years, but... I don't think I can ever betray it--completely. I mean--Pokemon is a huge part of my childhood.

I'm an Advanceshipper... (don't stab me!) so I enjoyed the animes all the way up until the voice actors changed half way through Hoenn. Ever since the voices changed, it seemed like the anime changed and the connection I had with the anime after that is pretty much lost.

As for the games--they're pretty awesome, but in all honesty, I haven't managed to get past the second generation. (Currently playing Soul Silver, which by definition, is still 2nd generation.)

On my: "If a Genie were to Ever Appear to Me and Grand Me Wishes" list -- "Travel the World with actual Pokemon" is totally on my list.

How I picture the Regions (even if though some are a part of Japan regions)

Kanto - Southern Japan

Johto - Northern Japan

Orange Islands - Philippines

Hoenn - China

Sinnoh - Europe

Unova - America/ New York.

Sinnoh - Europe

I don't want to live in SInnoh Dx

I dunno where I'd place the regions though, never really thought of it in that manner.

xD It doesen't, but i pictured them like that.

Cmon, Sinnoh is bound to be Europe with the style of clothing and its north.

Kanto and Johto is in Japan plus they are connected to one giant island.

Hoenn seems more closer, so China seemed to be picked.

Orange Islands have islands (obviously) so it has to be at the Philippines.

And Unova is at America or New York since that's what inspired the region. (EVERYTHING IS AMAZING WHEN IT COMES TO NY/SHOT)

I basically live in Unova :P Which makes me happy (sad its not real ;A; a person can dreaml).

Just so you know, All of the tamers from the previous seasons unite. They still have their old Digivices, and it seems Omnimon is going to give them Xros Loaders. c:

Huh, I haven't followed it since about halfway through the Tamers season, I should really re-watch the them again at some point as I thought they were pretty good xD

I've been a fan of Pokemon for years now, and while the anime was a little lack luster in the later seasons, the games will always have place in my heart. Pokemon was a part of my childhood, so I'll love it till the end.

I love Pokemon because it introduced me to the world of video games. Just for that reason, it'll always have a very precious place in my heart.

I liked the anime, in the beginning. Now... meh.

  • 6 months later...

I lost track of the anime ever since Sinnoh ended with Brock leaving. Seriously wtf.

With the games, the gb/gba generation was... priceless. The DS generation, I'm the only one who feels like this: HG/SS was a masterpiece so was D/P/Pt. Black and White missed something imo.

Why does no one remember PMD: Red/Blue Rescue Team, Explorers of time/darkness/sky or Pokemon Ranger, Shadows of Almia and Guardian Signs? :<
