You know how Sora and Kairi are the "couple" in the kingdom hearts series...well if Sora gets to have a girlfriend then why can't Ventus have one?

 

Like what if long long ago, maybe Ventus went to the destiny islands and met a special girl at the island. And that is why the Xehanort brought Ventus there to get his memory back(begin of bbs). I don't know. Don't you think it should happen?

Uh... Master Xehanort brought Ventus to Destiny Island, because that's where Master Xehanort used to live.

"This world empty like a prison" (something along that line) Master Xehanort says to Ventus's half-dead body. He is referring to the island, stating how practically nothing is there, and how it's surrounded by water, making it feel like a prison. He was planning on leaving Ventus there to die. Not to find a girl...

Sora has Kairi, Terra has Aqua, Roxas has...Namine or Xion..., while Riku seems to have Xion too... that leaves Ven and Lea alone...yeah...Kingdom hearts needs more female character not more Xehanort's .

Ventus can have whoever he wants, as long as it's not Aqua. Not that I'm bashing VenAqua shippers, but she acts more like a mom/sister to him than a love interest.

 

Plus, I'm a Terra/Aqua shipper, so I'm a bit biased.

 

Maybe Ven can have Namine? A lot of people seem to like that pairing. Both of them lived in the same place for awhile.

It's not like he needs one, he seemed more pre occupied about finding friends more so than girlfriend. :L

Yes I am, those too should hook up after all is set and done , they could even adopt Ven...come to think about it what happened to their parents (I mean sure they don't show Sora or Riku's but at least they mentioned them).Also I figured that Lea can pair up with Larxene, Arlene (whatever her real name is)

ppl need to think about the fact they could be gay lol

or maybe that Ventus's special girl was Namine.who knows,since Roxas was a nice couple for Namine and we don't know that Namine was Kairi's nobody,maybe she was the special girls's nobody,for my opinion that is....

Why the hell do people think Riku & Xion = couple? There's nothing there and there never was anything there. x:

 

I think Lea, Riku, and Ven are just fine being single

I'm a Terra/Aqua shipper, but I won't keep my hopes up for it to become canon. Though I really wish for them to end up, I'm completely fine with them being canon only in my imagination.

 

But this topic reminds me of a Pixiv fanart in which Sora is with Kairi, Riku is with Xion, Roxas is with Namine, Terra is with Aqua, and in the Pixiv tags, Vanitas, Axel and Ventus was like 'Fulfilled jerk, explode!'

 

I wish Ventus'll get one, though. He'll make an adorable boyfriend. Just not with Aqua...

I don't think there is any place for these kind of relationships in the entire series, save for the mildly implied triangle situation that got sorted out in the first game.

 

It's about friendship, after all. The games have very pure and simplistic values and characters, so forcing them into socially and emotionally complex situations past their already existent struggles seems kind of moot to me. They can be close friends. Best friends. But adding physical factors, even if only implied, would completely crack down many of the game's well established concepts.

 

Because, really, what is a relationship? We live in a word full of easy-going and polygamous people and think that you would agree that, if we had to, we'd rather put these characters in "perfect" and pure relationships. So what is this? It's really being close friends, being true and having emotions. But you can love and be in love (I'm aware of the difference, folks) with anybody without having to add sexual attraction as a factor.

 

Other than that of course most of the characters aren't even developed enough (and thankfully so) to be engaged in such a commitment without it seeming extremely awkward and forced.

 

 

Of course I'll leave you your opinions to have. I think KH is a series that's easy to see yourself in and reflect your past experiences or hopes for the future. Everyone is different. Let's just all be friends, please.

I can understand your point here. This was why I said 'I'm fine without my favorite pairings in KH becoming canon', because I'm fine with the way it is--- friendship and nothing more. I just like to imagine it sometimes, since well, it's fun to imagine it.

I think it is good as it is. The series would get too complex and rooted to specific points with the addition of romance.

i dont like ven parred with terra or aqua personally...i see them as more of a big brother big sister / gaurdians to him...i could see terra and aqua being a couple though...

I think their friendship is fine as is. I don't think there should be any more than Sora and Kairi.

So we got all the other couples:SoraxKairi, RikuxNamine, RoxasxXion, and TerraxAqua. I think that Axel and Ven could be a gay couple. Their good friends already, and neither of them has someone. So, they could be a couple.
