Just curious. I've noticed a few college kids on this site, and I was wondering... how do you guys pay for it?

 

Out of your own pocket? Help from mom and dad? Scholarships (what kind?) School discounts? Loans? Government pell grants?

Four years of busting my ass in school and at an internship with dyfys so other people would pay for it.

Help from mom and dad ;P I need to start working or something though I can't depend on their money all the time...

i have to pay for college myself (through work) i dont wanna take any student loans because i know that it takes forever to pay back , so im going to this community college where i live and atm i can only take like one class now and again (expensive and may take longer than suppose to , but hey at least im trying better than doing nothing right ?)

I am currently planning on paying with invisible money, because I have none, and my parents can't afford it, but I've already been accepted!

My friend's girlfriend is really lucky though, she got a free ride scholarship!

i had the pell grant. helped tremendously

My college offered me a lot of aid, and I plan on paying what I can with scholarships.

Financial aid and pell grants are what i currently use.If i fail Algebra a second time,no free money.

I'm going to enlist in the Reserve Officer Training Corp. The gov. will pay for me if I do well enough.

Still in high school, but I'm keeping my grades as high as possible so I can get a scholarship. If I don't.... then I have no spare money for the next 10 years at least.... =__= (unless I miraculously get an extremely high paying job)

My parents are going to pay for the big stuff, they could pay for all of it but they don't want me to come out of college with the idea that money just comes out of nowhere.

 

Scholarships and work should handle things like textbooks, food, etc.
