Well I was gonna watch it but most anime series that end early I don't watch. Why only 52 epsiodes? Is the show good or bad? Looking for som ething to watch while waiting for Bleach to be re-animated.

Soul Eater is awesome. It ended early because they completed the story and didn't want to tack on pointless episodes for the sake of continuing it. I actually prefer shorter serieses.

 

The "fake ending" at the end of season 1 was very well done.

I've got a few beefs but overall it was a great series. What I didn't like was mostly:

- at the end of the second half then they added too many characters without doing enough character development

- some of the details made absolutely no sense

- A hallucination was able to physically lift up some characters and hold them in mid-air

- A technique (the genie hunter) can cut through evil and leave non-evil unharmed. Yet it was able to slice through rocks which are clearly not evil...

 

Well Soul Eater is a pretty decent anime. It has action, comedy and lots more atributes that make it well.... good. The only complaints that some of the fans have given is that at some point it diverges from the original manga story line and the ending itself is pretty dissapointing. But other than that last thing.... I recomend watching Soul Eater and even more if you are waiting for Bleach to get re-animated http://kh13.com/forum/public/style_emoticons/default/happy.png

Good anime's I recommend. well one good one is a show called Gosick. It ran first in fall of 2010. < my profile pic is a cool screen shot of it.

I like it even thought I never read and never watched any of it. I got it from a old friend of mine.

soul eater is one of my favorite anime's of all time. its amazing, you should watch it.

Because 52 episodes is short compared to a mainstream anime, huh?

Soul Eater: Great Anime.

A short anime? puhlease mitsudome has only 12 episodes and a bunch of others i like that hardly have any episodes like hellsing<3 and elfen lied<3 in general soul eater was a good anime animation, story and fighting/perversion at parts all around good i loved it

Have you ever watched D-Gray Man? That's the best anime I ever saw and the manga is still ongoing.

code geass is really good if you havent watched it, but yea soul eater is also a really good series, it's just a pain in the ass to find good links for the dubs

I personally adore Soul Eater. And where the ending was a little 'eh' I still can't deny that it was a really awesome Anime.

 

The only warnings I have for you is that some of the content in the show can be rather dark. I mean, that's what the show was aiming at I think, but I have to warn you that things can get either very gruesome or very scary. Most of the time it's a combo. (You don't have to pay attention to this part if your okay with this kind of thing already)

 

Other than that Soul Eater is full of humor and action. It hardly ever uses severe language and while there are a few scenes in the first few episodes that lean towards 'suggestive' it never gets that bad.

 

So yeah, I would recommend it ^^

To replace a mainstream anime you must watch another long mainstream anime. Watch Fairy Tail. One of the few animes these days to go over 52 episodes.

I only watched 11-12 episodes of Soul Eater, and I think it's pretty good. The only thing I hate about it is Black Star, the most annoying anime character ever.

Yeah it's awesome, a bit complicated here and there as well as a bit hard to understand at times but yeah, it is still epic nevertheless.
