In Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep, she met Xehanort. Ever since then it's been "the mistress of all evil will rule all worlds and the dominion known as kingdom hearts"! "Ahahahahahaha".

 

Over the ten year time span from BBS to KH1, Maleficent and her buttbuddies (Pete, Hades, Jafar, Ursula, Captain Hook, Oogie Boogie) have destroyed hundreds of worlds in search for the Princesses of Heart. Once KH1 started, they merely had just 3 more left to find.

 

Maleficent was so badass with her Heartless and Disney Villains. She succeeded in collecting all the Princesses of Heart but failed in the end. It turns out that the Heartless (Ansem) merely used her as a tool to help find the Keyhole.

 

In 358/2 Days, Axel and Roxas were sent to Hollow Boastion to free Diablo.

 

Later on Kingdom Hearts 2, Diablo made it all the way to Mysterious Tower with Maleficent's cape which shouldn't be possible. The three fairy god-mothers revived her by just remembering her.

 

Maleficent later comes back with what I presume was a slightly larger Heartless army, considering Pete came back from his mission in completing his mission in creating a larger army. None of the previous Disney villains ally with her which angers her. Pete does most of Maleficent's dirty work and all.

 

In the end, Orginization XIII merely used her to help form Kingdom Hearts.

 

So Maleficent's been used in both numbered titles, do you think she'll ever outsmart Xehanort? It would be an epic plot twist.

She might be the main antagonist after the Xehanort Saga ends .We might see hints of her plans in KH3 but nothing more bc its the conclusion of Xehanort.

I've sort of been waiting for this moment when she'll finally get her own back on Xehanort in some way or form. It would be an amazing scene to watch unfold so I'm really hoping it happens.

She should, but since Nomura doesn't like making any characters other than his own credible, it probably won't happen.

malificient has a huge amount of darkness in her heart. She can easily be used by Master Xehanort and the heartless.

And she is not usually noticing that she was being used.

That's not really what I meant. Maybe if she were to find out that he's been behind the whole scheme for 12 years, she could foil his plans and get revenge.

The reason of KH is to use the Disney characters to advance the plot. Even if she wanted to get revenge, it would only benefit the KH characters. So no. lol

Personally, I'd love it of that were the case. I never liked Maleficent as a character but she was one of my favourite villains. If she became important to the plot or played an angle Xehanort didn't, it would definitely please me.

I think it would be a funny twist to have Maleficent come in the middle of the final battle with Xehanort in KH3, and she is the one who destroies Xehanort long enough for Sora to finish the job. Then Maleficent would faded away and then we see a later scene where she introduces us to the next 'Xehanort' and is the one who helps train the next super villain and then the next super villain becomes too much hotheadly evil that he/she tosses Maleficent aside into a poisoned ocean and walks away into a portal where he/she goes to in act a plan to rule the worlds.

^Eh.... no. Maleficent already serves as the main Disney antagonist.

I think everyone is posting that way because we know MX will be the main concern for KH3 and people want to know how disney will fit in and it seems like the best choice, not to mention that after the final defeat of MX it will be like a whole new game sereis. But your right there should be more focus on KH3 and how everything is going to come together.
