  1. 1. Do you think that games can affect how you do in work/school?

    • Of course! If I keep playing and forget about my responsibilities, I won't do well in school/work.

    • Yes, but only when I play for a real long time... It can affect how I do in school/work...

    • Maybe, but if it does affect, it's only because I've been careless... The games aren't guilty.

    • Nah... I can do great in school/work even if I spend hours playing games.

If I was born in this day and age, I'd say games wouldn't affect me.

Honestly, I don't blame games/computer if I get bad grades.It's just that I was too irresponsible/lazy.

Nah.

I always play and still do my schoolwork.

Only unless I feel like I don't wanna do any work.

I play games for hours and still get consistent 80% and up

No, I'm responsible enough that I can put the games aside when I need to work on schoolwork. Now the forum on the other hand...

No I don't think games can affect how you do in school or work. Unless your up half the night playing them. It should be our responsibility to study and work hard enough to recieve accceptable results.

Nah unless you get waaaayyy into the games. Like for example when WoW hit the scene. My god people were sad on how much they were obsessed with that game.

I'm easily distracted. :3

the game is never the problem the problem is me not stopping to study

I end up playing games less during the school year so I don't get pulled in by another freakin' addictive distraction.

I can't stand playing video games and knowing i have a test the next day. I have to study, or i will fail. xD plus i feel really irresponsible.

tutti frutti. Who needs school and work when we have video games? Gaming usually doesn't really effect me negatively in any special way. I will put down the control if I really have to get stuff done.

It's never been a problem for me. My low grades were always because I couldn't rememeber either that I needed to do something, how I was supposed to do it correctly, or to pack that thing I need.

My memory's what screws me over, not my games.

No, I don't let video games affect school or work. If I've got to do school or homework or my job, I won't play video games. Period.

No it doesn't affect me when playing but if i was someone who got easily distracted then it would but in my case Work comes first before games.

My parents always blame the computer, video games and such for my distraction.

But I get sorta nice grades, and I don't think that video games are being an influence on them.

I always do schoolwork first, then I play video games. But on weekdays, ii play till 8 or 9pm.

On weekends and vacations, I play till I don't feel like playing video games.

Only when I play for a really long time. I get distracted, forget about school work and forget to check the time.

If I don't go well, it's not the games' fault, it's mine xD

I am really good at stuff so I can play games

I do find that its not wise to play games extensively when I want to excell in my schoolwork.

I could probably execute a perfect speedrun in Super Mario Bros. and correctly answer every Math question on a worksheet at the same time. 'Tain't no problem for me.

  • 6 months later...

I forgot about my homework when i play video games.
