Problem with DDD's demo limit?

Featured Replies

That's what I always do with demos I want to play alot. I have 26 uses left, and refuse to let it drop down past 20.

Yeah, I'm gonna have to turn it off every couple days, but I will not run out!

Gee, it's like the demo is designed for the European release or something...

So, I'm guessing a re-download isn't possible.

Also, fnny rage-comic until the end, due to misuse of the "___ All the ___!" meme.

If you could re-download then there wouldn't be a need for play limits. lol

Unless you used a different method for doing so.

Wow!, I hadn't thought about this idea. I'm much more happy now that I read this topic, now I can always play it. Good thing the 3DS came with a little charging station or whatever. At least mine did. Now I know how to spend the rest of my summer (well until July 31 that is). Hopefully my 3DS won't explode due to me never turning it off just to have twenty-eight "unlimited" more times to play a demo.

Yeah, just charge it every once in a while and turn it off every few days. You'll be able to stretch that demo out into forever!

That's what I'm doing xD Mustn't... use... other applications

I thought that at first, then realized that I don't really use it as much as everything else. OF course, it'll be a problem after Thatrhythm comes out... problem detected.

Unless you used a different method for doing so.

A 2nd 3DS.

So, has anybody BESIDES me run out of things to do? This isn't exactly a meaty demo...

i got the demo at 5am Central time last night, i have played through it 4 times, and i have 29 uses left, i would have 30, but i wanted to make sure that even though i didn't open the demo 4 times, just 1, but i played through it 4 times, i wanted to make sure it wasn't counting each playthrough as a use, and it isn't, don't care about the limit because you can bypass it, and i love the Flowmotion mechanic

you think 30 is bad? Europe only has 15 uses!

Europe also gets the game earlier. lol It kind of evens out.

agree i did everything i could in the demo. Really would have added to the demo if they added riku side :/

Thanks but I don't need to download the demo. It's better to wait for the game release than to wait an hour downloading it. Lol

An hour? Only if you have a really bad connection.

if you play thearhythm then you will have something else to do than playing KH3D demo again and again without turning off the system xP

p.s...I don't have a 3DS so I have no idea how the system counts the time you play a demo...so the counter only counts the times you open the demo rather than the times you played the demo?

Yeah, every time you open the program, it knocks a count off of your limit. And since it kicks you back to the start screen after the demo, as long as you don't close the program, you can play it 500 times if you really wanted to. Of course, DDD would be out by then...

And thanks to DC for moving the post to the DDD thread. I was thinking about putting it there, but it wasn't technically about the game itself, so I was a little hesitant.

A 2nd 3DS.

Besides that obviously. Like some kind of 3DS reset.

So when it goes back to the tittle screen thats not a use? Cause if it's not then I'll plug my ds into the wall and never turn it off xD I only played the demo 2 times because I wasn't sure

does that ruin the 3ds by not turning it off or keeping the 3d toggle on?

Then youve got 28 trials left!

You turn it off every couple of days. Putting it to sleep won't kill the thing, just turn the 3D off when you do.

Exactly what I was about to say.
