After playing the NA version of the KH3D demo, it made me wonder, do you think that with the controls being similar to that of BBS, if not exact, it could possibly be a game re-released for the 3DS? I think that it's something that is possible and would be a good idea for those that have a 3DS, but not a PSP.

Nope, i doubt that would happen, and i wish it won't.

Also, if a game is supposed to be re-released here, it's days.

Although my best friend recently gave me his PSP (for free ) just because I was so desperate to play BBS, I'd get a 3DS version too should one come out. I don't think it's impossible, but... I can't imagine them remaking BBS on the 3DS, it just seems unlikely and there's not really a reason to remake it.

 

Edit: Yeah, if there was one game I DID want remaking, it'd be Days or for Europe to finally get Re:Com... But Days would be amazing with the proper KH graphics.

It took long enough to load new areas/scenes in BBS for the psp even after downloading it. What would happen with a 3DS?

I wouldn't like that to happen. The graphics would be so similar anyways,and the 3d isn't absolutely necessary. If there's any game that needs a remake for the 3ds, it's days. That game would be 5000 times better if they did. Even though it was great story and character and design-wise, the graphics weren't close to the KH standards, due to being developed for the earlier da systems. I would love a remake of this game!

Days...I think it needs to be really remade. The combat system was boring, the missions were repetitive, and the graphics were DS crappy. It had one of the best stories, but it was ruined by the game-play. If it was completely remade with better game-play like the other Kingdom Hearts, I would probably buy it.

3ds Is all digital as opposed to loading it from a disk so it would be alot faster.

Yeah he's amazing haha. I bought him KH1&2 and made him get his PS2 out of the attic so he could play through them with me (I wanted to play them again), and he really likes KH now. I've still not finished BBS though.

I'm certain it would not be difficult to port. Though, they might have to change the camera, because the PSP is significantly wider than the 3DS

That's silly. If they port the game, more people can play it, and Square Enix makes more money, which goes towards making more, better KH games. Just because you personally don't want something doesn't mean you should say it shouldn't be at all.

It doesn't need to be a graphical overhaul. If they just port it, more people will be able to play BBS

They only cross-platformed once, and that was for Re:CoM (and even then, only because it came with KH2FM to begin with). Porting Birth by Sleep to the 3DS just seems pretty pointless to me. I mean, it's not like it would be a bad thing, if you don't count holding up other projects they happen to be working on to rerelease a game that was perfectly fine to begin with bad.

 

If we're getting another 3DS KH, it had better be a Re: 358/2 Days.

I'm sure there are plenty of people who don't have a PSP who want to play BBS. Similarly, Vita or PSP ports of the DS games are good. Any port is good for getting more people to play a game.

I'm kind of shocked that Square wouldn't just do multiplatform, or even just port BBS, since I think that BBS had a relatively short period of time compared to when it was released and when the Vita was released. I've looked in some stores, and BBS IS getting hard to find now, especially with the Vita on shelves.

they did it twice dont forget about re:coded, but i really would rather see Days remade for 3DS over BBS.

I think it's a simple question of need. I think a remake of days is more needed than a BBS port. First, i'll start saying that Graphics is not even close to the most important things of a game, BUT, the way the DS could handle graphics for Days, made it look like so different... Kinda, not-KH, and a remake on the 3DS could repair that, along with the fact we would be able to play with the analog stick, they could do some more additions to the game, for example, like on KH and KH2, during cutscenes, we would have the keyblade we are actually using during the game, instead of Kindom Key all the time (That bugged me a lot)

 

And, again, i don't see any need for a BBS port on the 3DS, think about it... They would have to mess with touch screen, which would probably became a simple map, like in Days, and stuff like that.

And i don't think you understood what i'm trying to say hatok. You first said:
