July 11, 201213 yr I the think the answer should be 16 if you are using PEMDAS, but that's just my guess. P Parentheses first E Exponents (ie Powers and Square Roots, etc.) MD Multiplication and Division (left-to-right) AS Addition and Subtraction (left-to-right)
