For people who beated the game, is the story that stupid?

Posted

I have been reading reviews about the game and most reviewers said that story is not good at all or is stupid. I think that maybe they don't understand the story because they haven't played the other games.

Im waiting too much of this game , i wait it must be better than Birth by sleep but not as good as the ps2 entries.

For the ones who finished the game , What do you think?

I think people say it's stupid because of all the retcons numura has made with the game.

If they say that the story is stupid than they know nothing about the KH series and are just impatient for KH3 to get here. But here's one thing they don't know: Kh3D is a very important game and tells us what to expect in KH3.

I think the story is good .Its just that there are certain elements in it that some people (including me ) dont like ...

Hello time travel !!

I'm in the US so I do not have it yet. I also did not beat the game. But I do believe that the story may be a bit weird or stupid because the whole time they are sleeping while doing this MoM Test and nothing is really "vaild" or "story related". The gameplay looks awesome as do the graphics so I have high hopes for this game! Also the ability to play as Riku like in CoM is also an added bonus.

There are some randomly introduced things, but they're all perfectly explained and make sense. The story itself is very good in my opinion.

The reviewers are just stupid ._. they're like "lol mickey this is stupid 8D"

All of the reviews I've been reading have said that the story is an amazing and must-have game to further understand everything. I have not played the game yet, as I live in North America, but from everything I've read I am really excited for the story-- to see it evolve. Kingdom Hearts does have a confusing plot so maybe the reviewers were just a little confused because they haven't played all of the games and actually fully concentrated and thought about the story.

If they think the story is "Convoluted" or "Stupid" then it's obvious they don't understand Kingdom Hearts. Just because they are released on a different platform, doesn't mean it isn't an important piece of the story. It may be confusing at first, but it will all make sense later on as you play.

Hello time travel !!

At least it wasn't like Final Fantasy XIII-2 kind of time traveling.

Yeah, I still haven't played but I've seen some videos, it's a connection to pretty much all the games. it's not hard to understand and I found it pretty cool. Don't pay too much attention to reviews about KH, since it's not that popular like some series, so people that haven't played other games are likely to don't understand. If you're worried about how this game will be (like I was at first) spoil yourself a little and decide if it's worth buying. But i reccomend it, it's really cool and not "way to ruin the series Nomura". it's nothing like that, and it's really imprtant to understand the next game in my opinion.

(You said "I wait it's better than BbS" are you brasilian?[i am, and it translates, in a wrong way, like you did] Not be too much geek but it's "I hope it's better than...")

Kingdom Hearts has always had a stupid story

But DDD has the best stupid story to date.

I enjoyed the story in this game more than I enjoyed the story the others though I never experienced BBS first-hand.

Okay, if people are saying the story's stupid, then they don't know KH. Seriously, I don't know how anyone could say that. In my opinion, this is the best anniversary gift we could have ever gotten. It's a main story after KH2, it references every other game, we get to see many of our beloved characters... This game is just truly awesome. I don't know what there's to complain about.

By the end of this game you'll be on the edge of your seat dying to know what happens in KH3. It sets it up nicely whilst leaving you in awe and rethinking things. LOL. I guess the story could have been a bit better (all stories could be), but people need to remember this is not KH3, but the bridge to it. For what we got, I'm more than satisfied; this game is my favorite KH yet. It can be a little hard to understand, but I don't think it's too bad by KH's standards.

Also, Sora gets some nice character development in this game, and you'll seriously be cheering Riku on the whole way. The voice acting is fantastic, and the worlds are more expansive and accurate (thank you for this, Square!) It's truly a marvelous game. The TWEWY bits were also nice and blended in seamlessly with KH. I know that definitely made me nostalgic and wanting to see more of them in some way. All in all KH: 3D gets an A+ in my book, and I don't even have it yet! Ive just completely spoiled myself. LOL. All I know is this game is headed in the right direction and III will be even better because of it.

i finished the game today and the story was awesome :D<3

Yeah from what I've got from the Japanese translated cutscenes, the story is fantastic. They are just being ignorant. Even my friends who don't follow KH anymore still say it was an amazing series, and that they wish they stuck with it.

watch the reviews say when kh3 is released on the ps3 or whatever system it is on. 'Well this, this and this didnt make sense or wasnt explained.' UM maybe that is because you didnt play the one before it because you thought it was a side story on the 3ds so therefore you didnt play it... I dunno why bu i can see alot of reviews saying that about KH 3 because they didnt realise the importance of a 3DS title.
