July 31, 201213 yr Ok personally I like to play as Riku better. Has to be Riku... only time you get to play as him is in CoM, but even then it was card-based. Plus Riku has better attacks and dodging (currently)!

July 31, 201213 yr I preferred Sora's story over Riku's before this game, but now I prefer Riku both as a character and to play. I prefer the spirits giving power to keyblade vs sora's taking control of spirits.
July 31, 201213 yr I think I like Riku better! I find myself fumbling for potions more for Riku than for Sora, and I like the way Riku handles better (he seems slightly faster than Sora).

August 1, 201213 yr Definitely Riku, he feels a lot more powerful and his flowmotion feels more solid. That way he uses the Dream Eaters is a lot more interesting as well.
August 1, 201213 yr I keep going back and forth on this one. Each time I'm playing as Sora, I feel like I like him better... then it changes to Riku and I feel like I like him better. Both have some pretty nice features that the other one lacks. Like I've really been liking Riku's story and how he's been interacting with other characters. Whilst I enjoy Sora's "battle-mode" much better and find it more entertaining and upbeat. I've decided that I like Sora's dual link with the spirits better though. August 1, 201213 yr I like playing as them both, but I have to admit Riku was really fun to play as at the start of the game because it was a fresh new element to the game because how vastly different the gameplay is to CoM. I found his boss battles way harder and I also thought the way he linked with his Dream Eaters to be far cooler than Sora's. I am tied though because well Sora is Sora so I have to say he's cool. ....Idk I like both D:

August 2, 201213 yr I prefer Riku (he's cooler). But his combination with the dream eaters leaves him more open for attacks, in this case, Sora is better, since it's an almost instantly damage Riku. I hated Sora's links I only knew how to use Meow Wow and Necho Cat. Riku's is a lot easier, and for the most part does more damage. I liked more Riku at first, mostly because Sora's combination attacks were dumb (I mean, HE STARTS TO DANCE D=) but latter, as the game grew difficult, I noticed that Riku's combination leaved him more open to attacks (some of his combinations even slowed him down) and, in Sora's case, I discovered new combinations that were stronger (and as far as I recall, Sora can't suffer damage in his combinations)
Ok personally I like to play as Riku better.
