before I start I'm gonna say........I've finished KH3D

and I began to understand how the time travel worked for Ansem Seeker of Darkness and Young Xehanort

as said by Young Xehanort.....once you became a heartless....you can time travel once...and you must have an incarnation of you in said destination(Destiny's Island for Xehanort)...you can't time travel to a period that you don't have any incarnation in....and once you get back to your own time......you're experience of time travel will be erased and none if your action will affect the time line......and since Yen sid said that Sora and Riku will travel to the period where the island wasn't a sleeping world ....and they actually traveled to the dreams of past worlds....they might traveled to the worlds Xehanort has visited in his youth......the past of Young Xehanort in the realm of Sleep.....that means Young Xehanort has traveled to the realm of Sleep and remained in there to guide Sora into the world that never was.........he only time traveled to TWTNW and only entered the dream of the sleeping worlds sora and riku has visited....thus he only time traveled once to the world that never was where his incarnation...Xemnas...awaits there.............Ok...at first I thought I've pieced everything together.........UNTIL OUR BALD DUDE MASTER XEHANORT SHOWED UP TO TWIST MY MIND.........I get that MX has been ressurrected by the destruction of Ansem and Xemnas......my question is.......Did Ansem and Xemnas got revived or summoned from their time???? I think they got revived with Master Xehanort since they still remember Sora & Riku and all of their experiences with those two and the members of Organization XIII.............what really twist my mind.........if the clones will back to their time.......HOW WILL HE SUMMON THEM BACK FOR THE KEYBLADE WAR?????? it's impossible that Ansem's ability to time travel is unlimited....by YX explanation...it's got to be limited.......he'll only have almost 6 or seven members(himself,Ansem,Xemnas,Saix,Xigbar,Terra-Xehanort.....with sora as a member inbetween the sides)

 

ok...I'm not gonna say it doesn't make sense......because I'm sure there is an explanation....THERE HAS TO BE AN EXPLANATION TO THIS........and they have to explain that in Kingdom Hearts 3+another spin-off because one game might not be enough

 

 

now don't get me wrong....Kingdom Hearts 3D is awesome...the Story & gameplay is Great...I didn't face any GLITCH except fot one glitch against anti black-coat where he disappeared and I was able to attack him....other than that the game is great............but the story became soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo complicated to the point I got a headache everytime I analyze the story of the series.................KH 3D is great....but the series now has reached a really serious point of Succeed or Fail

 

if they got it right in KH3...then KH3 will be one of the best games Square Enix has ever made

 

but if they failed...the series will collapse on itself

 

I still love KH3D and the entire Kingdom Hearts Series...........but OH....MY ...GOD

 

not even Metal gear Solid became that complicated....in fact....MGS is less complicated than KH despite all the science,knowledge & technology the Patriot has achieved in the MGS series

Meal Gear is the only Shooter to live up to Kingdom Hearts!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I still dont understand the concept of time traveling in this game.

Xemnas and Ansem SOD were pulled from the timeline by YMX. He said so himself. He said that he was tasked with traveling through time to gather all of his other incarnations. If Xemnas and Ansem SOD remember anything about Sora and Riku, it would be because YMX pulled them from a late point in their life.

Nomura now has to make KH3 and Versus the 2 best Square games ever made.

I was going to answer you politely, but you said that there are spin offs in the KH series, which there aren't, and that pisses me off because of reasons.

Time Travels firetrucks up almost EVERY game, in a way that it's kinda hard to understand. Most games with time travel get everything explained in a single game, but since Nomura is a genius troll, he keeps making us wait for more and more epic games... So, all we can do, is wait for KH3, then we are probably going to understand time travel easily.

 

Just realized i owe Nomura a lot of stuff, he made my life much better.

Nomura now has to make KH3 and Versus the 2 best Square games ever made.

The only way i can explain it is that it's an infinite loop of events. Like if i was 50, and i went back to meet my 10 year old self, then eventually, the 10 year old would grow up to be the 50 year old, then they would go back in time.... they just kinda replace each other. So the clones wouldn't run out (assuming the clones are all from different places in time), they would just replace each other over...and over...and over. The most recent MX only has to time travel once, but the one after him replaces him, then time travels. i think....

Time travel is broken. It doesn't need to make sense.

YX Can't time travel without Ansem to give him this ability....so basicly....destroy Ansem and the whole new Organization XIII will collapse on itself..........................ok you know what?????? I'm not gonna analyze this anymore........my mind has been literaly exploded........I'm gonna do what I was doing with the MGS series.......I'm gonna wait for a very long explanation from Nomura just like Kojima's explanation of how the hell Liquid possessed Ocelot through hypotherapy and Nanomachines in MGS4(which doesn't make a lot of sense and it's a weird explanation)

sorry about the spin-off statement...I was just in a hurry so I wrote spin-off rashly....I do realize that the handheld entries(especially BBS and KH3D) are main games

Nomura himself said that all the xehanorts were summoned at the same time in the present by the help of YMX. He went to different timelines and did smthing to the xehanorts ( i dunno.. touched them? lol) and then they could be summoned to the present ONLY if they die/ disappear. So simply the old MX can summon back the other xehanorts whenever he wants.. til they die or smthing . Remember, when the members disappeared they didnt all necessarily went back in time ( nomura said it).

 

Common logic: i guess YMX could bring to the present only a person who doesnt exist at present. ( or else he could summon 10000.00000000.0000000000 xehanorts from any different time line, ya know, xemnas at 11 o clock xemnas at 12 o clock etc )

 

Other than that, time travel in THIS game is rly simple if you think about it, since it doesnt involve broken travel FROM future. (Xehanort: we do not know what lies ahead. and , Once you travel you can only go at one direction.)

 

ALSO: the bbs fight with mf is non canon since it doesnt make sense from YMX to be there, since the bbs time was before ansem sod went to see YMX.

EDIT: just to know, ansem sod has not visited YMX til kh1. if we assume that: ymx is 20 years old and sees ansem sod, then everything goes totally wrong, a time travel loop is created and everything gets @#$%. thats wrong. Actually ansem sod goes to a timeline which doesnt really.. IS aka the past cause ymx isnt real.. just a shadow from the past who is acting exactly like how xehanort WOULD act if smthing like that could happen ymx: my heart will show me the way. thats what i had to say hope i helped

so with all you've said.....YMX maybe not the real Xehanort from the past....he can be a Dream version of the original past xehanort....since as Yen Sid said.....Sora and Riku traveled to the Realm of Sleep in the point of time when Destiny Island was a sleeping world..........phew....now everything starts to come together

Agreed! The easiest way to make any series hard to understand is time travel *cough* LOST *cough*. It just makes my brain hurt.

Yeah but but the real question is if Young Xehanort know when to gather the 13 again if his memory is erased.

 

He said that when you time travel, you forget everything that happened, but the future is already set in your heart, so nothing changes in the timeline. So he's gonna do exactly what MX did when he grows up.

I think if the game is released on PS3 they won't need another game (cause the disc capacity is large) it would just be a very large story.

I think Terra's heart will go back to his Armor in the keyblade graveyard.......since his body has been divided into three once Xehanort turned himself into a heartless........but I think Terra's revival has to have something to do with Xemnas
