Anybody else feel like he is getting way to popular?

 

A few day's after the game Slender was released, people went nut's over it Not saying that's a bad thing though. But since then, he really doesn't seem all to scary.

 

and not to mention the fanbase art that is coming out on Deviant Art (YAOI ) . Really takes the "terror" and "Creepiness" out of him if you know what I mean.

 

On another note, Slender Source is going to be awesome :DD Multiplayer+Good Slenderman Model=Intense game.

Not the game in particular, but Slenderman himself. It's getting the usual fanbase treatment if that makes sense

I read about him once. The idea and that picture on the tv tropes page still scare the crap out of me.

Well Slenderman became very popular, because many of youtube's popular lets players played it and people started to try it out by themselves.

I don't see it as bad thing if people get more intrested on horror and in my opnion Slender is really well thought character, it's very simple, but same time disturbing. I would have liked if game would be little bit more scary though..

 

Funny thing is that people are really making even documents out of him..

Lmaooo noooo SlenderMod beats all >:L but its not just the game thats made him popular I mean the YouTube series "Marble Hornets" has been around for 3 years now.

Have already played Sanatorium, it was better and Slender kinda moved with that moon walking style so he sometimes jumped on really scary places..

 

But yeah, that Fanbase treament is something that you really can't avoid when something becomes very popular...

I am going to have to play this one It looks kinda awesome.

I think he's too popular, but then again almost every internet meme or thing that circulates on facebook ends up over-used and boring.
