Posted September 6, 201213 yr Sorry if this has already been pointed out, I'm really slow. But I just realized that Sora: Air/Sky/Wind (Gemini, Aquarius, Libra) Riku: Earth: (Capricorn, Taurus, Virgo) Kairi: Water (Pisces, Cancer, Scorpio) Lea: Fire (Aries, Leo Sagittarius) Do you think this is a sneaky little pun Nomura added in or am I just over looking things?
September 6, 201213 yr Lea's name doesn't mean anything either in japanese or chinese or latin. He just uses the power of fire.
September 6, 201213 yr Lea's name doesn't mean anything either in japanese or chinese or latin. He just uses the power of fire. Here's a little game... Just think of burning Flames in the Wind and then think of a KH Character ~ The first you will think of will be Axel/Lea He's just in an opposite way to the Trio ... Sora and co have Names which represent Element, but they don't use these elements ... Lea doesn't have a Name which represent an element, but he uses one therefor ~ Edited September 6, 201213 yr by VanitasTheBest

September 6, 201213 yr ...........?I don't get it,what r u trying to point out the elements (which i know already) or the weird names ?
September 6, 201213 yr I thought the majority of characters represented elements in general (whether it be their names, their title for example Axels "flurry of dancing flames" or their power) not just the Zodiac There's earth, land, sea, water (kairis name), ocean wave, sky, wind, fire, water (demyxs power), space, nothingness, moonlight, illusions (i'd count illusions/magic as a element), lightning, Light (so many people have this) It just adds variety.
September 6, 201213 yr Author Also, it's funny how their "elements" kind of match up with the zodiac personalities. Like Fire for example: "Those with planets in fire signs have a simmering at-the-ready stance, as they hunt for things that light them up. They're prone to sudden illuminating flashes of insight and bursts of enthusiasm. Like fire itself, they can flare up when inspired, making them seem very passionate about life. They like to live large, and often feel frustrated by mundane chores and duties. Fire signs are known to be intuitive, and to rely on gut-level instincts. Going on faith in their inner guidance gets them far, but they have a tendency to skip crucial steps, or to be unaware of the emotional impact of their actions." The part in bold made me laugh. Sound like someone we know? As for the rest of the elements, Earth tends to be "grounded," down to earth, responsible, serious, strong, and dependable Air is: adaptable, uncontainable, elusive, knowledgeable (okay...maybe "knowledgeable" doesn't really describe Sora..) And Water: adaptable, passive, and is also the element of peace, love and healing. It's a very feminine sign (there's more about it here: http://www.astrocrystals.com/water.shtml)

September 6, 201213 yr Um... I'm sorry, what part of this is a pun? They represent the four Western Elements, it's not surprising that you can find it somewhere else.
September 7, 201213 yr But in Chinese zodiac, there is two other elements, wood and metal Also I think that nomura might have combined these two types of zodiac, now this is just a hunch, but what moon crazed, loyal, sharped tounged nobody is like a dog and someone we know?
September 8, 201213 yr I think that nomura might have combined these two types of zodiac, now this is just a hunch, but what moon crazed, loyal, sharped tounged nobody is like a dog and someone we know? Saïx isn't loyal (he is trying to betray Xemnas, hence him sending Axel to ensure the deaths of his loyal followers at CO) Saïx isn't sharp-tongued, he's pretensions and an arse. Sharp tongued is a witty clever person who always has a quip. Saïx just makes dramatic speeches and kicks puppies. Saïx isn't like a dog, because dogs don't deny your existence because they are jealous of you.
Sorry if this has already been pointed out, I'm really slow.
But I just realized that
Sora: Air/Sky/Wind (Gemini, Aquarius, Libra)
Riku: Earth: (Capricorn, Taurus, Virgo)
Kairi: Water (Pisces, Cancer, Scorpio)
Lea: Fire (Aries, Leo Sagittarius)
Do you think this is a sneaky little pun Nomura added in or am I just over looking things?
