But, what did you first think? I thought Ventus was Roxas before he joined the Organazation and that Aqua and Terra were mercenaries.

By the time I bothered watching it, I had already known about Birth by Sleep, it was right before the North American release. I didn't think much of it besides that.

Here's my thoughts in the KH2FM+ secret movie:

 

Me: Who's this guy? He must be sweaty and hot being in that armor. How does he use the bathroom in that thing?

 

*sees 2 more armored people coming from the left and right of the armored man*

 

Me: Okay, who are these people? The one on the right looks like Sora in some cool armor judging from how he looks

 

*sees them pulling out 3 keyblades*

 

Me: Did Sora and gang die or something? Maybe these 3 people are supposed to be decendands of Sora, Riku, and Kairi.

 

*Sees a shadowy figure coming from the wind*

 

Me: Sora? He's still alive? Oh wait it's just some bald guy with a cape. And it seems like he has spider-man with him.

 

*While the battle starts*

 

Me: Oh man this is getting intense. The bald guy with a cape seems to be powerful.

 

*After seeing Aqua's face for the first time*

 

Me: Guessing this is Kairi's daughter or something? About time Sora did it with Kairi.

 

*after seeing Ventus' face for the first time*

 

Me: Roxas? What is he doing out? i thought he went back within Sora. Did he become his own person?

 

*after seeing ending of the movie*

 

Me: Wow, I have so many questions about this ending.

I was like ' This game is gonna be badass ! " .... and I was right

My first thoughts were that I might get to use that armor, or at least similar armor, in a game, which made me pretty excited.

Followed by a profound shoock at the Keyblade Graveyard that basically lasted all the way until Ven, who I knew couldn't be Roxas (I'd finished Days already), froze, and he's tossed down the cliff, where his keyblade shatters, and I thought it was his arm. Then his eye flashing and I was sure that was agony. I saw Aua do some awesome things, ie long distance reflega, and decided this was a BAMF, and Xehanort brought Kingdom Hearts out, which confused me, since that had already happened.

I thought it was set far ahead in the future, destruction had taken over all the worlds leaving it in a wasteland, this new enemy (didn't know who he was) was a shriveled human form who'd grow in age as he destroyed the universe.

 

Sora was the masked being being somehow controlled or turned by the old dude (MX) and Roxas was stepping up to take his place, Aqua was a grown version of Kairi, with her hair changed colour as she embraced the power of the keyblade (who I just assumed given the look Aqua and Ven exchanged, had fallen in love with Roxas during Sora's capture/absence),

 

I was unsure who Terra was (thought he was Riku in the armor then it gets cracked). I just assumed he was a new character, like a sort of fallen warrior (or think of it like, a rogue cop, someone who does things for good but mighten always use the "correct" path (i.e. achieved goals with darkness)

 

I assumed the rest would be revealed in the game. But I was completely wrong.

My cousin showed it to me when I was younger and not as into KH as I am now he was like "this is going to be KH3!!!!" my first impression was that it was fake because of the CGI graphics, but then when I accepted it was real I was like why is Roxas frozen? why are they working with Ansem(Terra), is that an older Kairi with blue hair? Why are they wearing armor? All these questions lol,and then I thought Vanitas was Riku cause their manskirts dark suits look similar.

 

The funny thing is when BBS actually came out some years later, I only figured out TVA were the people from the secret movie when that cutscene played in game. /slow My reaction was "omg those three are actually those guys, from KH2's secret ending" http://kh13.com/forum/public/style_emoticons/default/ohmy.png

 

I also find it funny that my cousin thought BBS/KH2's secret movie would be KH3, when I borrowed BBS from him and asked him if he wanted to play it first he was like "no this is a spin off I'm waiting for KH3" Kinda ironic seeing as he was so pumped when he unlocked KH2's secret movie which is BBS, then when the actual game comes out a couple years later he dismisses it as a spin off that would be a waste of time to play D:

I actually finished BbS a while ago then decided to play KH2 again, finally unlocking the secret movie back in July (I never finish a KH2 game file because I don't want it to end ) and was like "zomg it's them!! Sweet what happens?? Why didn't I see this before?!" Basically, my eyes were completely glued to the screen

First I was in that analytical mode. Examining the armor, the keyblades, the enemies, the sayings, everything. When it was over I was like " That was epic". I noted the keyblades, so I thought perhaps this was when sora, riku and kairi were in the future. Then I saw an old guy in ansem's (the heartless) cloth's and Riku's evil cloths. Then as the peope in armored are revealed, I began to think perhaps these people are from mthe past. Ventus really confused me. I perhaps thought this was sora's father, if i was assuming it was in the past, or Roxas gained his freedom and this is in the future. Terra looked like xeahanort, and I thought again of the past and this was him as a person before getting older. Aqua was the only one I was like "She is new". Basiclly all speculations.

Kingdom Hearts III

When I saw it, I thought that they were Keyblade Wielders of the future.

 

Terra and Aqua were somekind of unknown Keyblade Wielders, and Ventus was Roxas.

 

Vanitas was Sora (Always thought like that), and MX was Riku possesed by the darkness.

Okay so when I saw the secret movie for the first time, I was like: "Okay, so these guys must be Sora, Riku and Kairia. Holy crackers, these guys really did an upgrade on their clothing! But when I saw the creepy old man whom I would eventually come to learn that is Xehanort, I was like, nooo, there's something up about this!" At first I thought this was Kingdom Hearts 3, and many people believed it to be so, but that's when Nomura said that it was Birth by Sleep. I was frickin excited that the game would be a prequel to the first Kingdom Hearts, and I'm like: "Hell Yeah, bring it on!" Funny story, the only reason I have a PSP to this day is because of Birth by Sleep.

By the time i finally watched it/ unlocked it i knew about BSS so i wasnt suprised

My thoughts during:

-Holy crap.

-HOLY CRAP.

-Why is that old guy wearing Xehanort's Heartless's clothes?

-And who's that guy wearing a Dark Riku-esque suit?

-Oh look it's Roxas.

-Wait what.

-Hey so that brown haired guy sure gets angry when mountains are terraformed beneath him.

-That blue-haired chick's Reflega was super effective!

 

My thoughts after:

-This game is going to be incredible.

-The armor fits Keywielders so well. It maintained (for a short period of time at least) the mystery of their faces, while maintaining a powerful feel. They also contrast the dark coats of the Organization nicely.
