So, as the title says, do you think there will be a KH 2.5 HD Collection in the future?

 

After seeing the Kh 1.5 announcement I am convinced that Nomura will keep his word about having a KH game out every year. SO I believe that a KH 2.5 HD Collection will be out by 2014.

The only game not really that available now or soon is kind of KH2 but I don't see the need to make a remake of that be called 2.5. I woul get it if iwas called remix 2 but i can't see tham making a re make of 3d or coded with kh2 so i'm gonna have to say no

I would love to see a 2.5 remix, but I'm not completely sure that Nomura would do make one.

i think there will be, otherwise it wouldn't be 1.5 for a reason. the way i see it, he might do kingdom hearts 2 hd with cutscenes from coded and maybe dream drop distance. MAYBE. still not sure yet but im pretty much convinced that there will be

I'm sure they will, but the games in it is the important thing.

 

KH II and 3D make the most sense for a remake IMO. BBS is too massive a game and it would completely dwarf 1.5 (KH2 was longer than KH1 and CoM is much shorter than BBS). Re:coded wouldn't be included either because, like Days, it would take a massive effort to make it HD, and SE isn't going to do that for us. 3D makes the most logical sense because it is 1 out of 4 of Sora's games (KH1, CoM, KH2), and is the only one that would not be represented.

 

However, this doesn't make sense because 3D just came out and doesn't need an HD improvement. We would probably rather have Days or Re:coded, but I don't see that happening. My guess would be that 2.5 would have KH2 FM and 3D, with cutscenes from Coded.

I just think that they are gonna remake kh2fm+ because remaking KH3D makes no sense as it just came out and it doesn't need HD improvement , and putting bbs makes no sense chronologically because it happens before kh1 and they seem to be remaking the games chronologically ... so yeah i just think they are gonna remake kh2fm+.

I think that he will produce all the console games for ps3 in preparation for KH3 so that more people can buy KH3 who wouldn't normally if they hadn't played the first ones. I also think that he will use the remixes to keep people occupied while working on KH3 so that we don't have a huge wait in between releases.

Yes, I think they'll make another HD ReMIX. If they're trying to get people prepared for KHIII then reintroducing KHI, Re:Com, and 358/2 Days just isn't going to cut it. I'm pulling for KHII and a BBS remake.

 

If they're just trying to capitalize, then there's little reason to not make another collection if 1.5 is successful. I guess we'll have to see.

It's really hard to say whether they'll make a 2.5 or not. I know Tetsuya Nomura once discussed releasing all the Kingdom Hearts games on one system, but I can't really imagine Kingdom Hearts 3D being remade without being in 3D (unless they manage to do this for a different console, perhaps). Also, it seems too new to be released in a set come 2014. I do wonder if Re:coded might make it into Kingdom Hearts 2.5, along with Birth by Sleep and KH2.

 

Again, it's really hard to say at this point. I think it'd be great if they released all the Kingdom Hearts games for one system so that players won't have to own a bazillion consoles just to play all the games. But I wonder if 2.5'll have a lot to do with how well 1.5 goes over with the audience.

tutti frutti. If Nomura would keep up with putting out a KH game each year, he would have to do something like that, if not put out KH3 or some other KH game, if he is going to maintain that plan. But I would think that he would at least do something like that if he is going to do a KH 1.5.

We have KH1 Final Mix, KHRe:CoM and news&olds scenes from Day's in the 1.5, so more than logically, we'll have KHII Final Mix, KH BbS Final Mix and news&olds scenes from Re:Coded.

There most likely will be a 2.5. I am about 90-95% sure of that. Maybe 99% and that 1% is a little bite sized piece of doubt that is hiding in the back of my mind. And it'll include KH2 FM, BBS FM and Recoded Cutscenes. It'll include BBSFM becasue around KH2 is when refferences to BBS start being made so it would make some sense to put it in with that collection. Unless SE decide to release KH0 with BBS and BBSv2 but I doubt it. So yes to the KH 2.5 HD Remix.

Definately.

2.5 with KH2FM, RE:RE:Coded and 3D cutscenes (the scenes are good enough and the gameplay fine, also it's newly released so it can just be cutscenes).

And 0.5, with BBSFM, (Possibly) BBSV2 (as a filler, so there's 3 titles) and trailers/secret videos, cutscenes leading to KH3.

No one knows if there will be a 2.5, or if it even exists. For all we know, 1.5 could possibly be our only HD collection for Kingdom Hearts.

 

All we can do is wait for 2013 to unfold and be patient for any possible future titles for the series.

Ok first off ENOUGH about BBSV2 that game has long been confirmed not to be happing and even Nomura said it was discountinued so its not going to happen. Kingdom Hearts 2.5 will be KH2FM,BBSFM and the cutscens from re:coded in HD. As much as many people like to think Coded isnt important Nomura says otherwise in that EVERY game is important and he isnt going to leave one out just because the fans dont like it. The events of Coded were briefly mentioned in DDD and it turns out the data from that game is what Malificent is after so YES coded is important obviously. The only game I don't see making it to a HD colelction is DDD which is fine it was just released!

Nomura: I used "A Fragmentary Passage" without regard to its context. What I mean is, there's a story for Volume Two, without using that scene. I can't say there isn't a possibility of making it, but there are no plans for it right now.
