The secret ending Kairi is their 7th Guardian Of light, how can this be if she's a princess of heart as well. She can't be a guardian of herself. And what about Lea? He makes 8. Shouldn't he be the 7th guardian instead of Kairi?

I don't see what's wrong with Kairi protecting herself. Better than her having to protect someone else.

As for Lea my theory is that he will be a substitute light until they get Terra back.

Why can't she be a guardian of herself ? Self defense is vital in this scenario . You do realize that MX made it so that he can use the 7 PoH OR the 7 guardians as the lights needed to clash . That way he makes the clash inevitable no matter what they do .

Here's who i believe are the VII Guardians of Light, ahem:

 

I-Sora.

 

II-Riku.

 

III-Kairi.

 

IV-Ventus.

 

V-Aqua.

 

VI-Lea.

 

VII-King Mickey.

Another victory for Flaming Lea.

I agree with the lineups of

Sora, Riku, Kairi, Mickey, Ventus, Aqua, and Lea.

 

But Terra is the original light. For now, Lea will substitute Terra till he get's back into the game.

 

Also, Since it's been 2 months KH3D released, you shouldnt have to put spoilers in ur title.

I think the same, Lea will only substitute Terra (only cause it looks this way)

 

But I also think it's possible that she won't be one of the Guardians. Yen Sid let Riku bring her to the Tower to train her abilities with the Keyblade, that's obvious. But it doesn't necessarily make her a Guardian. She just has to train to Protect herself, not to be part of the Guardians.

I think Kairi is capable of taking care of herself, and besides, don't you remember that in Birth by Sleep Aqua had transferred a bit of her power into Kairi's necklace, and I believe that is what allowed her to wield a keyblade in KH2. So, since she has that connection with Aqua, I'm sure Kairi would make a great Guardian of Light.

You must have not unlocked the super secret ending showing Demyx with a keyblade. o_O

I think it's a great idea for Kairi to protect herself. With the introduction of Aqua and Xion (girls fighting for themselves) many people started dissing Kairi as forever being a damsel or useless trinket that needed saving all the time. By making her a guardian, it allows her to have more screen time, character development, dynamic personality, unique princess/light inspired powers (the ability to sense darkness, judging by that she should never be caught short in an ambush) and the ability to NOT be so easily captured (honestly Axel dragged her by the wrist).

Also Kairi's had her keyblade a lot longer than Lea, just cause he has a huge fanbase doesn't mean he should replace her. The title of the secret ending pretty much determines Kairi is a guardian, either Lea will take Terra's place until he's saved, but other that than he won't be a guardian most likely. I reckon he'll still play an important role in the war but he won't be a permanent guardian.
