Is he really that hard? I just got done fighting his 2nd form on first try and Critical Mode and I don't see why people think he is one of the hardest bosses in the game. His move-set is pretty easy to dodge/block. Imo his 2nd form is really easy. On my Proud Mode file I beat him at lvl 80 with no sweat on first try and on my CM file I also beat him on first try (I was lvl 75 this time).

 

So yeah, why do people say his 2nd form is hard? Just curious.

Yeah, you were definitely over-leveled, I was lvl 55 and I was still struggling on critical

Most of his attacks would reduce me to critical health

I'd get cheap-shotted in the middle of attacks, things liek Guardian attacking instantaneously

His snowflake laser was instant death if all four connected

but Dark Splicer doesn't work during the balls of doom attack. they hit you regardless. and that attack breaks through second chance and once more.

I must be the only dude who beat ansem SOD2 at LVL 45 and 60 : P

You overpowered yourself when you were at lvl 75.......try him on lvl 40 o or less on critical and lvl 35 or less on proud so you can tear your hair apart

 

He is way harder than the stupid Julius

I was at level 40 when I fought him and it was a medium difficulty fight.

I can't even defeat Holey Moley or that bird with a book for a wig, whatever its name was, Spellican was it?, so how would I know?

You have to time it right.

I was around level 28 or 30 and I had a hard time on standard.

Um...he's talking about RE5 not RE6 lol. I find RE5 to be the worst RE game ever. it's all action and doesn't have any scary parts in it. the only good thing I can say I like about RE5 is the final boss against Wesker. As for RE6, it's decent. it's not bad but not great either.

I thought he was easy, but I was level 78 due to going round trying to complete all the portals before I went into the final stages, not understanding portals and doing ones that weren't even in the forecast.

I fought him on normal at about lvl 24 and he. was. hard. And you my friend, were very overpowered. Seriously. I'm having a hard time trying to understand why you don't understand why everybody thinks he's hard.

I was level 43 something in Standard Mode, when I beat him and it was easy (did it on my first try, with Riksy Winds forecast, I think). Then I've played in Critical Mode Lvl 1 and, even if I've managed to beat him, the fight was obviously harder.

I guess that most of the people tend to find that this boss fight hard because they are under-leveled. The game's lvl recomendation for The World That Never Was is 40, so it doesn't surprise me when people say they are just lvl "30 something" and they are struggling.
