Yeah this is a topic which has been going on for a long time. However I just want to know since the FF characters roles have been constantly diminished and the characters from them are just weak replicas of them should they even be included with the rest of the installment since the KH games have been heading in their own direction without them? Or should they just continue with what they started in the first place despite the fact that the series really isn't a crossover but they should continue it for the fan-service.

If they go, then the potential of TWEWY goes too....and that is something I do not want.

I feel like Nomura will always put in some sort of fanservice Final Fantasy allusion. Not even fanservice for us so much as advertising and putting his own characters out there. IDK why but I'm almost certain lightning will make some form of appearance in kh3. The parts will probably get smaller and will never be as heavily involved as the first one, but they will always be there, just as cameos.

Yeah SE characters aren't as showcased as Disney's, but I still enjoy seeing what little they DO put in. /coughZACKcoughcough

Yes I hope FF characters are here to stay, there were none in KH3D besides the moogles, granted I guess you could say twewy characters replaced ff characters in that game.

There are getting to be less and less characters, period, in KH

Well, except for Sora, Riku or Kairi clones. we have plenty of those.

I think it's important for Final Fantasy characters to continue appearing in Kingdom Hearts games. That's one thing Dream Drop Distance lacked, and I think it sort of reflected poorly on the game. I believe it wouldn't hurt for Square-Enix to give the Final Fantasy characters better roles and be certain they're in-character, but I definitely wouldn't want to opt them out of the KH series entirely.

I'm not really into Final Fantasy, but it is nice to see characters from it in KH. I vote they stay.

How have they contributed to the story? The series can move on without them. I mean the last FF character to be added was Zack and that was in Birth by Sleep.
