You're right. I have never heard the word pandemic for some reason. In that case, it should be number 1 instead of 2

Why do people fear what they can't control? If the world ends, then what? Nothing. The world is ended. You're dead. What have you got to worry about?

Pretty good video. I particularly liked the World in Conflict footage in the Global War topic. That game needs a sequel and more recognition.

 

I only hope for two things regarding the end of the world, that it's quick and it allows for something to be left behind.

 

There is a theory that the space probes we send out could at some point land on a moon or planet. These space probes have extremophiles or microscopic organisms that can survive in extremely harsh conditions that defy our perception of "able to support life". If a space probe lands on a planet that allows extremophiles to survive, they could further multiply and evolve and possibly, lead to intelligent life.

 

Also, believe it or not, most doomsday scenarios are very unlikely. The only ones I believe could happen within our lifetimes is a Pandemic or a Super Volcano eruption as Pandemics as modern transportation has made it possible for a super disease to infect millions of people over night and the super volcano can happen at any time and was suppose to happen 40,000 years ago.

4. GIANT Solar Flares Don't see this one happening either. The sun just finished its cycle, so it's at least another 12 years before there's a chance again. And the chance is REALLY low

3.Asteroid Impact The nearest asteroid that could impact Earth strong enough to wipe out humanity has been predicted to be about 50,000 years away from Earth or something
