Ok so i have a 26 in standard tv and that was fine when i was only playing ps2 but i finally got a ps3 and this tv isnt cutting it. the text is so small and some games are cut off because they are meant for widescreens. so i have been looking to upgrade to and hd tv (widescreen). And i was just wondering what size do you guys think is decent? Right now i have my eye on a 40in.

I have a 21 inch HD tv, it's just for my bedroom which is small so I don't see the need to save up for a larger one (i'd get one if I was financially able) but the one I have now makes do, I also don't see a point in saving the little money I'll get this year for another one when I'll most likely be moving if the uni I get accepted into next year is in the country, rather than the city (where I live).

(facebook group) "10 Ways to have more money as a student, without working" normally advertises great deals and savings on stuff, including tvs. I wish I'd liked it before 'cause for the same price I paid I could have got a extra 7 inch ._.'

EDIT: I play PS3, PS2 and N64 on my tv.

Got a 5'1 inch HD and it does wonders.

i used to have an old 20 inch SD TV and playing the PS3 on it was bad. I was playing FF13 and the text was so small. Last christmas i got a 26 inch 1080p HD TV and love it. Now i just need a better game case for my games

I game on my good ol' gigantic Toshiba. Screen's huge, but doesn't have HDMI. Picked it up at the Thrift store for 15$. When I really want HDMI, I hook my PS3 up in the living room, or sometimes go to my dad's.

Yeah, that small text is annoying as hell for me.

I have my PS3 hooked up to my 23" HD monitor. I found it was a better deal to get a nice sized monitor than get a small HD tv.

... Now I want to play video games *runs off*

All of my console gaming is done on a 42" HDTV. Nothing special, really.

I game on the 50 inch television in my room. :3

The small text annoys the heck out of me, and my parents had the 50" television that they didn't use, so yeah. :P

I don't need a television that large, but whatever. xD

I don't play on a TV at all.

My parents are both teachers, so we don't have lots of money for big televisions (plus we hardly ever watch tv anyway, so why buy another one?) On the plus side, as a teacher, my father got a free projector, so we made a nice screen, hung it on a wall, and now get to play my videogames on a 6 by 8 foot screen. >:}

37". Allegedly the folks got it for 100$, but I'm convinced my father swindled someone to get it. Pity there's no way to give it back now.

Whichever I have access to. I'm not picky.

The one in my room is a 24" HD flatscreen up on my wall, which is perfectly fine for me. But I often just bring my consoles (Wii & PS2, soon to be PS3) over to my Nan's where I play them on her 60" HD TV. LoZ and KH are epic on it.

Then of course there's the 120" projector screen at my Dad's house... <3 But the games don't have sound on that.

Someone's not playing KH HD 1.5 ReMIX.

Anyway.

I play my video games on my Panasonic 32" HDTV LCD. Perfect size for my bedroom. It's got so many ports it's not funny. 3 AV and 3 HDMI for starters.

I play on a 60' HDTV

My dad got a better TV and there was no where else to put it. My room is huge so it went there.

But I say between 30' and 40'

A movie theatures sized tv for watching movies and watching shows. But a regular sized tv for video games. Idk how much inches it is or the measurements are.

You're right. I'll be playing KH 1.5 ReMIX.

Does your TV have an AV port? Lol.

I have an old TV, from 1991, I think,

It has some buttons missing, but it still works.

I can't remember exactly how big, but I use my xbox and ps3 on an HDTV around 40".

Samsung Smart TV 42" absolutely fantastic

Well, TV size depends on what I'm playing. The 360 is in our basement hooked up to a 42 inch plasma. My GameCube, Wii, and PS2 are hooked up to a 21 inch LCD.

Of course, most of my gaming time is devoted to a 3.5 inch screen (3DS). I play hand held games more often than console games.
