Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days

 

Does Roxas love Xion even if he doenst have a heart? Cause his is crying and all that, and she just disappeared he shed a tear. But before she go into Roxas she said I have to give Sora his memories back. she didnt want to go but it was best for everyone(so i thought). But it tears Roxas apart and he fights Riku but before Riku is defeat Xion says stop him Riku in his head.

Most likely not.

Not because it's "selfcest" or whatever, or "Roxas loves Namine because Sora loves Kairi"

(So what, Namine came from Sora too. )

 

Nomura did state that NONE of the Kingdom Hearts pairings are canon, so with that said, Roxas and Xion obviously does not share a romantic chemistry in the game.

It could be possible that he would have hidden feelings for her, who knows. But all we know is that they are best friends.

You could say he "likes" her in a way that Sora "likes" Kairi.

Roxas is like Sora, and Xion is a memory of Kairi, so that would explain why Roxas would have a strong connection to Xion.

KH II, you see Roxas and Namine develop a (non-romantic) connection with each other, since they are the Nobodies of Sora and Kairi.

So I understand why people prefer Roxas/Namine than Roxas/Xion, but either way, the three are all from Sora.

I honestly don't see any romantic chemistry between any of the characters myself, but Sora and Kairi does come to be the closest. Which automatically makes Roxas and Namine a close second

 

Roxas couldn't have been in love with either Namine nor Xion, despite the fact that Roxas DOES have a heart.

Roxas did love her ( as a friend ) to the point where he would shed tears after her death, but not in a "more-than-bffs" sort of way.

 

Kingdom Hearts is meant to be a game of friendship, not romance.

Selfcest is unavoidable in this game

I don't think it's love. It's just some fans "want" it to be love. Like every other couple fans like.

With the exception of Sora and Kairi, and Roxas and Namine.

No I think Roxas loves Xion in a way that a brother and a sister love each other remember Axel and Xion were the only friends he ever knew. I'm sure if Axel ,was the one that died he would also cry.

I think Roxas loves Xion, but like a friend. It is perfectly natural to cry when a good friend dies.Also, a nobody has no heart to love with. Yet they can feel emotions, or perhaps they remember what emotions feel like from their previous lives.

Love is such a strong word...I'd go with bff's definitely, but not love.

Actually I'd like them as a couple (I prefer Xion to Naminé), but I didn't have the impression they were in love with each other.

So, in my opinion they're just best friends.

Roxas barely knew what a friend was, so if he was in love with Xion, he wasn't concious of it.

Well, I was mostly joking. I made the joke because Xion was a replica of a boy, so. You never know. lol

Roxas felt feelings about Xion on par with how Sora felt about Kairi.. They were all connected ..He just didnt understand why he felt like he did which is why he always was asking Axel about what love was and feelings and such ..His feelings were like soras memories of Kairi .

He loves her, as he has Ventus's heart. Xion, on the other hand, might not love him because she is only a replica of a nobody with a heart. Wait... do replicas have hearts? Could there be a Mickey nobody? THE QUESTIONS CONTINUE! Who calls for a Beauty and the Beast candle guy nobody!?

Xion was her best friend along with Axel.

Just a quick note I need to make about Xion: In every game they make, square introduces some technical concept about something, ie darkness, nobodies, heartless, memories, etc. And in nearly every game, the moment Sora or someone connected to him is involved, previous theories are turned into utter bullshit (pardon my french, but it is really the best way to put it). For example: Nobodies have no hearts and cannot feel. Roxas, Sora's nobody, is an obvious example, but it's implied that he has a heart (Ven's). However, Axel also cries, proving that there may be more to it than that. We don't understand the heart, and cannot say what exists and what doesn't.

 

Now, Xion. She is a replica of Sora. His memories molded her to look like Kairi, yet her personality is largely unique (Nomura himself pointed out that Kairi, Namine's, and Xion's perosnalities were purposefully made to look different). She doesn't completely act like Sora, either. Though convention would make us think that Xion has no unique feelings, she admits in a diary that she loves her two friends and doesn't want to leave them. XIon has her own experiences and her own memories that make her the "person" she is; and in the end she sacrifices herself for her friends. That fact alone makes her more of a person than half of the "somebodies" we see in Kingdom Hearts, namely the villains (Xehanort especlialy )

Now that that rant's over...I say they love each other, but not "in" love. That's too extreme for some reason in my eyes. I don't know. It would still seem weird to me for Sora and Kairi to ever express any deeper feelings too, though, even though it's obvious they're in love.

But anways as of right now there are NO canon pairings in Kingdom Hearts really so the answer is that they're just really good friends until Nomura shows something otherwise in later games.

But Nobodies have no feelings... Then again Roxas is a different case. But I wouldn't say he's "in love" with her...

I think that Roxas loves Xion but only as a best friend like with Axel. To me, it seems more likely, that Roxas will end up with Namine.

Roxas' feelings are basically the same as Sora's feelings towards Kairi. Whether its love or not Xion is/was very important to Roxas. Roxas can FEEL and this has been proven by the fact he can cry which proves he has a heart. He is special nobody in the fact he is basically with the body of Sora and the heart of Ven.

Roxas is different than other nobody's though.

as far as I'm concerned the only KH characters that have romantic feelings for each other are Sora and Kairi. I think Roxas may see Xion as a sister and Namine as a very good friend. the Japanese aren't as emotionally stifled as Americans and many things friends do together and say to each other, whether with the same or opposite sex would be misconstrued by Americans as evidence of a romantic attraction and I'm sure this come across the same way in translated media.
