I was just curious how many friends people have in real life versus those on the internet.  I have several good friends online (maybe 5), but only two in the real world.  I've always thought that I'm the only one this way, but then I got to thinking others might be the same way too. (And maybe I'm not as antisocial as I once thought; wouldn't that be nice!)

I had friends but they end up doing bad things so I try to get away from people like that. In other words I have no friends ;~;

According to my Facebook I have over 150 friends.

It all depends how you will describe friend, but I could say that I have something like roughly 100 friends and then I have 4 guys who are my best friends. 

I have many people I like to be with and I can easily talk with, but again it depends that do you see friend in person who is nice to you or do you need something more to call it friendship.

I hang out with a lot of people, but I wouldn't say they are my friends. They're more like aquantances. I only have 1 good friend. He's more like my brother. I couldn't care less about the others. I know he's solid. He's the one guy I know I can trust!

I have alot of friends, but i really only have about 3 REALLY good friends. Lina, Lauren, and Christian.

I have quite a few, truth is I used to have a lot more, then I became kinda anti-social and hateful of tons of stuff and I'm no longer hanging with them or anything. I just have a few friends these days that I'm really good friends with and thats all.

65% of my school. Approximately.I wouldn't say I'm popular, but well-known. My height catches people's attention for some reason.

I've got plenty of friends in real life.I do wonder if it's because i go to a really small school,but then, i realize i'm close to people so, nah. Not so many online mainly because on the internet you have to make a bit more of an effort to befriend people and well i'm not very good at reaching out to people.but i have only ONE best-friend, because "best-friend" is a strong word and it shouldn't be given out to just anybody.

Somewhere between 10-15 good friends that i talk to on a daily basis. I made a new friend yesterday

Most of the time it's the people most popular on here that have less friends (not pointing fingers) And the people unpopular here probrably hang out more with their homies haha ^_^

I have three really close friends in real life. But I am capable of getting along with most people. If you give me a chance I'll give you a chance. If you know what I mean.

But online I have like no friends... Haha. But have a chat with me and we can be online friends. Actually I used to have a really good friend online but she doesn't talk to me.

Yeah, I'm about the complete opposite here, mainly because I'm more shy in person than I am online.  I guess I feel like the computer screen shields me from real-life scrutiny, haha!

Lmao well I think it'd be better to have more online friends (learn different diversities and cultures not to mentio the comfort zone thing you were mentioning ^_^

about 4 to 5. I'm not at all an outgoing person... I'm difficult to read and that pisses many ppl. I'm not open to new friendships or anything like that so I'm most like a lonely person...younger I had all my shcool as friend now that I've grown up and went to high school my friend have been reduced like 90% I just know those ppl I'm not friend with them and so they are not friends with me....

I have a lot of online friends, but offline I like to think I have a lot, too. Only a few that I'm really, really close to, but I have a lot of others I consider good friends.

Close friends? Seven... None of them are human...

 

Acquaintances? My lunch table, so six.

 

People I know that like (or at least don't dislike) me as a person? Pretty much everyone who is in one of my classes.

 

Yeah. I'm not really a social butterfly. I guess if I tried I could make friends, but it just isn't part of my personality.
