Because I sure as heck haven't. -_-  I'm even on level 75 and *still* can't get more than a few strikes in.  I can survive for probably close to 10 minutes though, so long as I'm exclusively healing and dodging...  (How pathetic am I, right?!)

 

Just curious who all has managed to defeat him, and what level they were on when they managed to do it.

 

(On a side note: I have defeated Sephiroth in Final Fantasy VII, but he was far easier in his own game, haha!)

 

ETA: I'm referring to the Sephiroth in Kingdom Hearts 1, for anyone who was wondering.

I DID beat Mysterious Figure, though. With everyone but Terra.   

 

 

 

I guess I did defeat him in a few other games, though.  INCLUDING MATERIA MADNESS.  Love that one.  >:}

I did, but only once. I've yet to be able to beat him again. I had all my items set as elixir's, was around level 90, had Ultima Weapon, and kept Aeroga going at all times.

I beat him. He's actually not that hard if you know what to do.

I have a few times ...But whats amazing is my 9 yr old lil brother beat Sephiroth in KH1 and 2 on level 50 and 52 respectively when he was 8 .. He has mad skills .Hes also beaten MF at level 56  ...

He was hard as heck, but completed.

he's easy did it in the 40's expert in kh 1 and in kh 2 50's (not using ultima wepon for any,kingdom key) on proud and i doubt crtical mode in khfm2 was any harder.I beat all the screct bosses in all kh games on hardest diffuculty and on lvl 1 in the ones that zero exp.Trail and error i memorized his moves and what he does,now i can kill with ease on lvl 1 in kh2 fm. just memorize his moves and know when to attack,rinse and repeat.

I did but only after i got the Ultima Weapon and by the time i got that i was level 100 already and i was a kid too. When KH HD comes out i will try it at a much lower level.

It's been a while but I think I had stocked up on Mega Either (?) and spammed special abilities. I think I had Ultima weapon too.

EDIT after reading some new comments,i thought i was bad at kh  but now it  seems I am pretty  good.Mf is a bit harder than sephorith but no that hard u just need a stratgery,excuse my spelling.Not to sound like i am boasting,

It has a little to do with luck, but do you the methods? And where to find the White Mushrooms? There are certain locations, and if you enter them a lot till they appear, them leave the world, they'll keep showing up.

If you don't know the way, just search youtube. I remebered I used a awesome video that helped a lot. So, good luck!

Beat him first try, no lie. Kept me on my toes, though. 77. Use Strike Raid whenever reasonably possible, you'll learn to love its invincibility frames after the battle.

Don't feel that way - I also heal a lot.

i was at LV. 85 and i ether used oblivion or ultima weapon. i mostly used the special commands except ragnarok the finisher is useless because magic wont hurt him. but after the first time it gets easier and now i have beat him 7 times and he only killed me 2 times.
