Am I the only one who doesn't want him to return? I kind of feel like his story is over and he should just stay dead. Let his legacy live on through his "children".

I'd like him to return for at least a moment. Maybe to share a few last words of wisdom for Sora and Riku.

I think he should stay "dead" o: Xehanort and Eraqus were companions or something like that, they should be both gone, their Era is over.

I didn't care much for his character but i do feel that he needs to be brought back to at least reveal what exactly happened with him inside Terra's heart.It will happen .Nomura even stated that Eraqus' whereabouts are important and we should take note

Master Eraqus was kinda just there for me, I think it would be cool if his "will" or whatever part of him is left in Terra get's its moment but other than that I'm indifferent. He died too bad so sad. I know I'm so horrible for saying that.

I want more than just that though. It needs to be addressed. Especially if Nomura said that scene was important .So Eraqus will be in KH3 in some degree. We just don't know to what degree

I didn't really care for his character so it doesn't matter to me. I think he might return but either way I don't care too much about it.

I don't think he should return but he should be addressed. He's still trapped in Terra's heart so he's still serving an important roll as he's helping Terra not get completely over taken by MX but afterwards they're going to half to do something with him. TAV need to have their proper good byes with him.  

I really don't want him to come back. Maybe he can be a boss in the beginning as Sora dreams and Ventus thinks of Eraques but I want him to have the armor when you fight him

He's a cool dude and all, but he should stay dead.

In general, I don't like it when characters that are meant to be dead return to the world of the living (in a form other than ghosts).  So, that being said, I kind of hope Eraqus doesn't come back.  I really liked his concept as a character and the role he played, but as Xaon said, his story is done; his role in the series is complete.  Bringing him back would just be wrong to the series.  Now, if he's shown in a flashback or some dream thing that'd be fine, but I'd prefer he not come back to the series in his entirety.

I don't think there was alot of detail on him.....he was just there.

Im surprised at u guys, Master Eraqus is the cooliest. I wouldnt mind if he came back and retook his position as guardian of the Land of Departure and teacher to young keybladers, but seeing as most major characters always reemerge in some form in this series, maybe just one should "stay down"

The way he (over)reacted to everything and everyone... I know it's horrible but I don't want him back :c

I don't really want him back either, not unless he has a massive realization, like Riku saves him with darkness and he sees that heroes come in many types, not cookie cutter light slaves.

But tbh I see no point in him returning. His legacy can be passed downthrough his students.

guys, its japan. they always kill off the good characters and never let the bad ones die. ever. and i was really sad when eraqus died because of terra's reaction and the fact that eraqus was remorseful at raising his own keyblade but master xehanort was right, he's kinda stubborn and only thinks in absolutes. and he overeacts to everything. but i would like it if he came back as guidance for sora and riku, and maybe he had the power to bring ventus, aqua and terra back

Yet MX's actions haven't exactly disproven Eraqus, have they?

 

Sooner or later, those actions will cause someone/something of Light to snap and retaliate at Darkness, ironically the very thing MX mentioned wanting to prevent in one of his Reports.

I reckon as xeahnort is about the strike Aqua/Terra/Ventus down a beam of light comes and blocks his attack then the protagonist looks at the smile of their former master before he dissapears with a flash at which point our protagonist gets back up with his/her resolve strengthened and beats the bad guy.

I really didn't care about eraqus that much but its not really nessasary to bring him back to life.

I'd like it if he remianed in soime spirit form for just long enough to tell Terra he's sorry for trying to kill him.
