Mine would probably have to be One Piece, even though it's long as hell lol. Naruto is overrated but I still watch it, and Bleach is good, but it should have stopped at the end of the Aizen arc. Monster is probably the anime with the best storyline and plot I have ever seen, and I've seen a lot of anime. Currentlly watching Steins;Gate, looks pretty good. What about you guys?

Seriously, its one of the funniest shows I've watched. Too bad the dub only goes up to episode 78, the original Japanese episodes with subs just aren't as enjoyable, and I prefer the English voice actors.

How does .hack work? I want to watch it but I don't know the order. I know there's Sign, Liminality, Quantum, Legend, and Roots, but idk the chronological order, if there even is one. Are they all direct sequels of each other or what?

You can really watch in any order to get it but the order I found best is:

Liminality>Sign>.hack// the game>Legend of Twilight>.hack//GU games>.hack//Link game> Quantum

If Key's answer doesn't work for you I vaguely remember the first 26(?) episodes of Sign were first in the timeline, then the games and Liminality at the same time, and episode 27 and 28 took place after the first 4 games aka uhh "conglomerate"? Or maybe it was named something else. Umm I think legend took place after, dunno about the others but if I remember correctly the in universe explanation is the The World is a famous MMO through the first 4 games and then some employee burns the software or something so they have to remake it and that leads to G.U. Edit: spelling etc. and it's basically divided into 2 parts: part of the .hack universe is called conglomorate or something else, one is the first version of the game and the other is the second version. And I think Roots is a prequel to the G.U games.

There is a long list of Anime's I enjoy, but as far as Anime goes I'll just list to 2 that captured me in the story, the drama, the artwork, the plot, etc. The ones I actually got into and felt emotion for.

 

• Shuffle!
• Eden of the East

 

Both of these are fantastic Anime's. Shuffle! has an amazing story with support of great back stories for the characters. The art for Shuffle! was amazing, and it just had a way of sucking me in. I cried during some parts. The ending for this was good, but left a few things unanswered. They more than likely could have done a 2nd season of this, but I guess the best thing about an amazing story is to always leave them wanting more.

 

As far as Eden of the East goes, I just have to say wow. The story was amazing, perfectly thought out and surprising, not once was I able to predict what was going to happen next. The artwork was fantastic, the suspense was great and the ending was perfect. I still haven't gotten around to watching the movie, it's supposed to be an "aftermath" story. Like what happened after everything went down in the show.
