I always knew there was a difference, but not this much different. I wonder if Riku's model was replaced with his from KH3D as well.

Whoa wait, they cleaned up that un-detailed flat face? Holy IMPROVEMENT.

I'll be the one to say it.

I didn't know it was improved that much. I knew it was improved but that comparison. WOW

That actually looks like a great improvement

better come out in australia....

Not really any other way to put it besides AMAZING!!

*BOOM*  (That was my mind exploding)

This is just... AMAZING!!

It is the KH3D models. The Osaka team confirmed it.

So technically, they didnt remaster the models for this title.. They reused what they had done already for 3D.:I

.... Now im pissed off at my friend for persuading me to get an xbox when i shouldve listened to my othet friend to buy a ps3.

in this case don't listen to that what people/friends say...do what YOU want

regarding the comparison:

it's a huge improvement

the new face is a lot better than the old one because I hate this "lifeless sticker face"

I hope that a lot of other "lifeless faces" got this new face

They replaced the low-detail model with the high-detail one. I wish they'd do that for all scenes but screenshots show the low-poly versions are still being used.

Wow, I didn''t notice that big of a difference. But yeah, all themodels have been replaced with the kh 3d models and hd'd out like a bawsh.

Ooh I love this scene and the one before it. I actually never noticed how wierd all those old models looked, now I really can't wait to see this.

Yeah, it looks grand and all.

But seriously.  My main issue about the HD remake, is that Ariel's hair wasn't beautifully detailed and remastered to when it looks like gorgeous fire flowing in the sea.  Seriously, that would have been so epic, Square is known for their graphics, and on most characters people pay most attention to the hair (or their semi-naked bodies) than anything else, yet Ariel still looks like her hairs so greasy it's gone into clunky chunks.

If Re:COM was released in EU, I wouldn't even bother with 1.5 (as I would have already had the chance to play COM before then).  As someone who doesn't have the finances to just buy whatever I want, I don't think the level of detail in "HD remaster" is worth it alone for someone like me.

Dat KH3D model, his eyes actually have life. They both look much better, this game would be a big reason for me to sell my Xbox and get a ps3. fo real.

They're so alive now.

Especially their clothes.

Sora's fish face scares me.

It's sooo shiny @.@

Wow, there is quite a vast difference between the graphics of the original Kingdom Hearts and the HD version. :O  All I can say is that it looks incredible and that I hope to own a PS3 soon.

Firstly they replaced the character model with that of KH3D's. And KH3D's character models are roughly ten years ahead of what KH's was.

And secondly your using a low quality screenshot of KH's English version.

But yeah, there is a great difference one that is even more noticeable for those of us with large TVs.
