I love the FE series. I started with FE: Path of Radiance for the GCN, and have been in love with the series ever since. Intelligent Systems really outdo themselves when they develop these games. Great, strong plot, AMAZING character development, and majestic OST. The tactical strategic combat system is really engaging and really makes you think and plan ahead. Challenging as hell on hard difficulty. I'm extremely excited for Awakening, and from the trailer(s), it looks great to me. February 4th will be a great day. Anyone else excited for Awakening as much as me?

I played the demo a few hours ago, this is sure to be one of the best games in the series, has anyone here also played it? If you did what did you think of it?

I'm going to have trouble playing the demo, for fear my uses run out...

Never played a fire emblem game before but,i tried it and its utter crap utter awesomeness gonna get it.

i really liked it actually i haven't played a fe game since radiant dawn and god how i miss this series i really prefer this over record of agarest war any day but just my thoughts. i just wonder how does this person in the mask know mark or why he resembles him but that's left to be seen

I'm pretty impressed. First off, I can turn off permanent death, so yay. The visuals were great, the voice acting was pretty good, the music was adequate, and the little bit of story present certainly piqued my interest. I might actually buy it.*

The permanent death of a character is the only thing I don't really like about Fire Emblem, but they improved that with the casual mode that only removes them from the current battle,what I relief, i got depressed each time a female character died

Okay, just barely beat Lunatic mode on the demo. Frikkin impossibru. I plan on beating the full game in Hard; Normal seemed a little too easy. And plus, I like challenges. Lunatic, though.... made me cry...

If you don't like permanent death, try the Advance Wars series.  It's made by the same people.

Congratulations!  I tried and got beaten on the first map.  I'll probably stick to Hard.

I've played the advance wars games already, and I've played most Fire Emblem games, that's why I said that casual mode is an improvement for me, but thanks for the suggestion anyways.

Good sir, I've afraid you're a bit late, Fire Emblem came out almost 10 years ago.

 

 

There is however, a new title in the series coming out for 3DS named Fire Emblem: Awakening which I am quite excited for

 

 

but I'm sure that's not what you're referring to so I apologize for wasting your time with this post.

I'm currently broke from having just bought a PS3, but it's definitely on my list of games to get.

If I like the series when I get around to it I might.
