I'm just curious if anyone ever finds that they are ever really off the hook on weekends from regular activities.  Do you get to spend your weekends doing as you please, or do you end up having to do something you'd rather not anyway?

 

I rarely ever get a weekend where I get to do exclusively what I want.  If I'm not reviewing my college notes I'm either catching up on housework or working with my mom in her business.

It turns out different every weekend. I tend to try to get everything done during the week so I can have my weekends to do whatever but it doesn't always turn out right.

Congrats on 1000th posts. And it depends, sometimes I'm busy with school work while other times I'm partying the entire weekend. Weiss, you lost already haha

you gotta make the change dude if you want your weekends to be free do your work during the week and just tell your mom the weekend is your time. Another alternative less reccomended though is to just blow everything off and live a care free life stop caring about school and relax.

Never.  I am always doing schoolwork on the weekends.  Most times I don't really have much time for anything else.  The one peace I have is my "firetruck School Fridays" after my classes are over that day.  If I didn't have that I would go insane

Most of the times, i have to do schoolwork or projects over the weekend so it's rare for me to to be truly off on the weekends

Sometimes I have it to myself, sometimes I don't. It as much of a hit and miss as anything else. Just depends on what the 'rents say.

 

Really, my exclusive days are thursdays. No work, everyone is gone for the day except me.

I dont do any work on weekends even if I have it.

Most of the time my teacher leaves us with online assignments, or there's a book I need to finish, or something entirely different.

And now that I'm getting closer to my geometry final, I need to start studying on weekends. 

But soon enough, my weekends will be free of work, hopefully.

I often have homework to do, but I end up going "firetruck that". Which I shouldn't do, but, meh.

However, if it's a short assignment, I'll do it.

It depends for me. Most of the time, though, I don't have an "off" weekend, but when I do I just usually catch up on some sleep.

Back in my day, I had no weekends. I had to work to make a living.

Nope.  I'm taking a programing in assembler class and that takes up all my time.

My Saturdays are chocked full with activities (and the ocasional night out ), and my Sundays are filled with KH13, and resting

You know your schooling has gotten serious when you are happy for the weekend and other days off. Not so that you can relax, but so you can catch up and do more work.
