the PS4 was announced yesterday and will be seen today in New York. but it will be released sometime by Christmas, and i don't know about you but I'm excited for it. it could be the system for KH4 and up. and I'm not sure but this could be the controller for it:

Sony may be readying a hardware bundle that includes a PlayStation Vita handheld with its upcoming PS4, according to a report by Machinima (viaVideoGamer.com).

According to "a well-placed, anonymous source," the package will reportedly go on sale before the end of 2013, and will retail for around $500. No additional details were made available. With the Vita currently retailing for $250 as a standalone device, and the standard edition of the PlayStation 4 priced at $399, a $500 pack would represent a significant saving for consumers.

Sony previously announced that all PlayStation 4 games will be playable on the company's handheld via Remote Play, though only games that have been "specifically programmed to allow such use of PS Vita" will be able to use the handheld as a controller for the home console.

 

This would be a smart move if it is true.

 

In Australia we will probably have to pay like $700 for this.

PS4 controllers will be available in red and blue. Drool.

And in other news the PSVita has recieved a hefty price cut. Only 199$ now.

These consoles are getting so many good games. I may end up buying them all. I'm looking quite forward to KH3, FFXV, Watch Dogs, and many more to come out in the future. Well mostly for the PS4, since that was the only E3 conference I saw, but from hearing what each console will get, I'm actually very excited!

Plus Twitch TV is coming to PS4. It's practically the best livestreaming website to go to.

I know right! I am so proud for Sony, they drew up all the mistakes they had with the PS3 and turned them around. Can't wait to get a PS4!

What to people think about Sonys approach to making the PS4 more social? With Pics of yourselves as Avatars and using your names as Usernames? As well as their whole sharing/messaging approach to make like a Facebook appeal?

I think it's an invasion of privacy to those among us who prefer to be private about personal info.

I hate to admit it, but i agree with this guy. Im still going to get the new consoles, but they don't really look that different from what we have now

xbox and playstation are the exact same technology wise, it is one of the reasons im netural towards them both.

They aren't the same. Xbox 360 uses HD DVDs. PS3 uses Blu-ray Discs. Xbox One is a all-in-one entertainment system. PlayStation 4 is the ultimate video game console.

I don't give a shit about playing in my computer as upgrading it everytime I need to play a new game just to update the specs is an expensive chore in itself.
