So I was looking at ears. (wow that sounds weird) and Xaldin's somewhat have a point to them. When Dilan's ears are normal. They don't point in the same way Xehanort and the other's do though. Does it mean something? I don't know. It could just be something weird. His eye's aren't yellow or anything. Soooooo....I don't know. Just figured I'd point it out.

I've noticed this too and I agree it's suspicious . Maybe he is a nort but isnt as 'far along ' as others if it's taken longer for Xehanorts heart piece to take over and thats why he didn't have the yellow eyes yet .Maybe everyones heart reacts different to how long it takes for a heart piece to take over . Plus I think it's weird he had problems 'recovering ' after reviving. (although yes it could be that its just related to problems with his VA).It's possible he was 'picked up" after the fact later on but before TWTNW

I don't think its especially significant. It could have been a mark that he was a nobody in a similar way to how Axel's marks beneath his eyes made him stand out. Plus there hasn't ever been any emphasis on ears as evidence to prove a connection with Xehanort within the series itself. Im unsure if Nomura said anything about it.

I think he tried to get a piercing on the top like his other piercing but it didn't turn out so well.  He got an infection and had to let the piercing heal, but because of the severe swelling he will forever have extra skin there (I don't know why I'm making up these stories so much.  I think this is a sign I need to spend time on my own stories )

Though in all seriousness, I'd assume it has to do with Darkness, and that whole Xehanort makes a bunch of himself thing.

maybe, one night, Xehanort got really drunk so he jumped onto his shoulders and pulled Xaldin's ears while pretending to be a cowboy.This may have resulted in his ears being stretched into that pointy shape that slowly went back to normal after about a year

Considering the people we know who have become norted didn't have pointy ears until they were norted...I'd say it's significant.
