From this video, it seems that they've already translated most of the game. Both KHFM and Re:COM. And 358/2 Days has been show to have been dubbed as early as January, meaning they're probably ALREADY DONE WITH IT BY NOW. And in both games, its been shown that the characters already have their English battle quotes and in cutscenes as well. The game is PRACTICALLY FINISHED NOW. But, its still being released in SEPTEMBER. WTF?

 

WHY NOT IN SUMMER? IT HAS NO REASON TO COME OUT IN 4 MONTHS, WHEN THE GAME CAN EASILY COME OUT IN JULY, OR AUGUST!!! But no. Square keeps trolling us, OVER AND OVER AND OVER AGAIN. Im going to have a boring summer now since i cant play this, and worse, THIS COMES OUT BY THE TIME MOST OF US WILL START THE NEW SCHOOL YEAR, GIVING US NO TIME AT ALL TO PLAY IT. Square Enix is making a decision that is really pissing me off. AND FOR NO GOOD REASON. ITS AN HD REMASTER, NOT A NEW GAME, GIVE IT TO US ALREADY. :angry:

I'm sure there's a reason as to why it's releasing so late. Maybe Square thinks that they will make more profit if it is released in the Fall.

They'll make more profit if they release it in summer, when we have time to play it, and are crammed inside our houses due to how hot it is outside.

Thats a stupid excuse. They didn't release DDD in september, AND THAT WAS THE MORE IMPORTANT 10TH ANNIVERSARY.

For example, if they're going the extra mile, this could include redoing the lip syncing for Days and Re: CoM, which isn't as easy as it may seem. And like with every other KH game, the versions outside of Japan usually include some other refinements. There's also the profit side. Square probably thinks this is when the game will release most successfully.

 

Also, keep in mind that this was just a small community event. They likely weren't showing off the full release, just what they had finished.

Simple. It's all about the money. Reason we don't get big games released in summer is because people are out enjoying the sun or on vacation. September is perfect for gamers to buy games to play when they're at home, after school/work etc. Plus it's about Sept/Oct time people buy early Xmas presents. It's just how businesses work.

Plus, it's also anticipation that builds up more and more and the wait will become unbearable until you simply HAVE to buy the game.

I also wondered about that. But this being a remaster they can afford to sell it for cheap. At least the site I'm buying KH HD 1.5 ReMIX from is half the price of a new release. I shall be buying them both!

Anyways, be glad they even made the collection. I waited so long I thought they weren't even gonna do it. You said "PRACTICALLY FINISHED", you don't know that. You said MOST words were already translated, yeah most, not all.

Whatever the reason is, I wish it had come in Summer. I wouldn't mind if it was the same time as KH3D. It's funny cause we will be playing KH HD 1.5 when TGS will announce another KH HD game.
