Its not just SquareEnix.Except for Sonic Generations,all of my games have really annying trophies that I wron't bother to obtain

Good point. Still, they should've made it more worth our while and made more Silver and Gold.

I'm looking forward to them, it'll be the only set of trophies I actually go for.

But it's to keep fans tided over between the releases.  There's some people who speed run missing out on things and having a trophy available as a reward encourages some people to spend more time on the game.

1XIII has much obnoxious trophies than 1.5....seriously the weapon hunter trophy is one of the most irritating trophies I've ever seen in my life.And it's all because of the game's linear structure that prevents you from going back to previous locations in Cocoon and forces you to restart the entire game in order to get every single weapon chest.

Alot of the people here give 2 Firetrucks about the trophies. Im not hating the HD collection because of that, its just that the trophies are pretty annoying for those of us who are completionists.

 

But true. Not everyone cares about them anyway.

If I have the time to get these trophies, I'll get them.

The only thing that really bugs me is that there isn't enough Silver and Gold Trophies, seriously Kingdom Heats has only one Gold trophy and it's to beat the game on Proud mode, not to hard, and same with Chain's it's beat Sora and Riku's story on Proud and I think collecting all the cards for them both are gold to or complete the Journal and D Report are gold still seriously some of the trophies in Kingdom Hearts should've been Silver not Bronze but oh well Still gonna get them and the really only hard one out of all of them is to get all the cards in Sora's story seriously that is like the only hard trophy on that list (for me anyway)

Well from what i've seen none of them are hard... Just very tedious. The kind of stuff that makes you not even really want to attempt getting the trophies anymore because of the repetitive aspect of them. The beating the games on proud mode will just come naturally. The collecting of all cards on CoM, well sure, sounds fun and the kind of thing that would feel good to accomplish. The leveling to 99 is just an obvious trophy. Others though, like for instance the Regular Customer trophy (Spending 20,000 moogle points) to me just feels like it will be a drag, and honesty quite useless.

 

Whatever though. A trophy's a trophy, and Kingdom hearts is Kingdom hearts. If it was any other game, count me out.

Square could have lightened up a bit on some of the trophies. That 500 decks trophy for Re:Chain of Memories is the firetrukin definition of tedious!

Oh God, Mortal Kombat is insane!!! I almost died when I saw that trophy list! That platinum is strictly for the hard core and dedicated!

Quota'd. I agree. The trophies being mostly bronze, doesn't even really make the trophies worth it nearly as much anymore.

Agreed. The 20,000 is probably just cumulative.

That is mayby why Square make the bosses only bronze. But still unfair for Sephy and the Unknown.

What trophy will we get with the lingering sentiment bronze..

To be honest, I don't mind playing a game I love having tedious trophies. I can handle it easily since I have played games with trophies that require a loads of amount of time which gets bit boring and still got the platinum. The only thing I am hating for the trophies in KH 1.5 is that they made certain trophies to be bronze for beating some hard bosses. This is actually not fair like other people are also mentioning. Silver was good enough but bronze? Just why... Nomura.

That game is basically the game pissing me off the most trophy-wise. I got all but two; the Platinum and the "Don't get hit on the final boss" thing. My God, the Time Eater thing is BS.

Yeah,time eater trophie was really annoying,but its not that complicated,he's always doing the same things in the same pattern,so all you have to do is memorise it and buy 99 lives so you don't get kick out of the level

Yeah, its gonna be alot of BS in 2.5 WITH BOSSES HARDER THAN THE ONES IN 1.5 like Vanitas's lingering Sentiment, Terra's lingering Will, Mysterious Figure and NO HEART. Not to mention the Hades cup which is alot harder. THe Mirage arena will be easy since you can do multiplayer.

Well Said Sora. One thing that makes me angry about this is some of these trophies aren't even required to NORMALLY get 100% like CREATE 500 DECKS and SPEEDRUNNING THE GAME. Another thing is that most of the trophies ARE BRONZE. I mean in KHFM only 2 are gold, 3 are silver and the other 51 are ALL BRONZE. Its not fair.

While they are quite annoying...I was going to no-life the shit out of the game anyways so I don't mind at all.

 

It just gives me a good excuse to play my favorite game, and it'll feel great to finally get a platinum trophy. Only a very select few games give them away like nothing lol

I read in an interview with nomura something about him not being altogether fond of the trophy system, maybe that has something to do with the fact they are more tedious and repetitive  than in most games now

You can avoid their deadly attacks easily with reaction command.

So I think you may blame the reaction command for the trophy rating.

1st can someone explain the secret bosses part to me? Second I feel like all the trophies are to make it so people try to thoroughly complete the game and try to make people forget for at least a little while that before we can even get KH III that we will probably have to wait for KH 2.5 to come out first

Just random but I was thinking after getting all the trophies in all 3 games, I have no idea what I am going to do with my life. It's like you will be tired or bored with the KH HD 1.5 games after you have got the platinum and I doubt I will play the game again after getting the platinum trophy.
