What did you think about the trailer, and what's your guesses to the story of KH3

I was in love the moment I saw KH3 first trailer. Then my mind immediately went on a rampage as the video played. I thought the CGI was gorgeous, and from what action we did see, Im hoping Square goes all out and makes this game the game others in the same genre look minuscule and be forever compared to KH3. Now what do you think will happen in this game, I know 1min and 30 secs, is not enough to supply info, plus the game is still in development. But what do you think will be in this game, gameplay and story wise. And what do you think they should change. I think there is something important about that keyblade Sora picked up, maybe that was Xehanorts back when he was good(ish) and lived on the Islands, and I also believe Square won't stop it there. I think that this might not be the end, or it is but a whole new adventure will begin as the credits role. Idk just my opinion, what do you think?

The CGI is gorgeous, yes, but I don't like the look of the actual gameplay. It doesn't scream KH to me. I know it's the beta and all, and things will change, but I hope the gameplay graphics do. It looks too much like a cartoon to me. Like a coloring book, or like Monty Oum's Dead Fantasy. Too...not Square-Enix, I guess. I'm very picky, but that's just my take. But Sora, yes, does look absolutely gorgeous in the opening bit. Holy moly... Those eyes. O.o

It was never Xehanort's blade? lol Simply put, the trailer is simple an in development trailer. Don't make any speculation. ESPECIALLY about that keyblade. Remember we all thought there'd be capes in BBS? NOPE! The helmets used? Simply placeholders until their faces were designed. So Master Keeper I believe is simply a placeholder

We've know for a long time that the story of KH3 will be us defeating Xehanort once and for all. The graphics were AMAZING can you imagine how awesome they'll be when the game is done? the colors are weird but the lines are super smooth. Now I want to know how the Master Keeper wound up on the Destiny Islands. the way Sora picked it up an looked at it made it seem important so I don't think it will be removed. I wonder if that will be Sora's main outfit from now on or if he'll get a new one.

2. KH has always looked like a cartoon.  I think you just got thrown off by the uber-bright colors. The style is still the same.

 

Why does everyone seem to think that graphics have to be hyper photo realistic to be "good"? Some games are meant to have a stylized look. 

 

And why is no-one talking about the fact that a confirmation for KHIII means any chance of ever seeing BbS Vol.2 has gone ouy the window?

All I can say is Sora looks amazing. His eyes seem a lot more bluer to me in the trailer. 

 

I was very happy that they even added a small gameplay. Even though it was just several seconds, it was just a great finish.

So far, all we know from the trailer is that:

 

Sora fights Heartless in Twilight Town, in an amazing battle scene.

 

Sora finds the Master Keeper, which is Aqua's only defense. Im guessing that maybe she has been rescued by this point.

 

Donald and Goofy will be party members.

 

There is a new bar, labeled EX.

 

The Battle Menu from KH1 and KH2 seems to be returning instead of Command deck(JUST LIKE I PREDICTED).

Yeah. I knew this game would have the Battle Menu over Command Deck for these reasons:

 

FF XV originally had a battle menu like KH1 and KH2 did. Nomura said the gameplay in FF XV is a prototype for KH3.

 

Its also a main title game. Each main title game has the battle menu, so it makes sense that this one would too.
