I have some thoughts about this, maybe the release of KH 2.5 is taken into account but with the announcement of KH3, Is still in there the release of KH 2.5? mmm and the majority of those games are from handheld consoles and just one from PS2 mmmmmm maybe this could be the structure of the Game:

Of course there will be a release of 2.5... it's not like they're only allowed to make one game at a time.

2.5 will come out don't worry about it.

KH3 is merely in development.  It will still be a while until the game is finished and released.  I'm sure they will have 2.5 out before then,  I think they are just waiting on a Japanese event so they can announce the Japanese release date.

Nothings changed . 2.5 is still coming.KH3 is still only in developement .

KHIII is in very early development and won't be coming out for at least 2 years. Remember the 'one game a year' plan? I bet 2.5 is already in development and close to being completed. I'm more concerned that any possibility of ever seeing BbS Vol. 2 has just gone out the window. I doubt they'll make a game in in the Seeker of Darkness Chronicle after the Xehanort Saga has been completed.

I have lost track of how many times I have said this on here, Nomura wants a KH game out every year. KH 1.5 HD comes out in 2013. KH3 is now confirmed and based on the very basic demo shown, is still very very early in development. I mean sora was in a generic KH1 outfit same as the earliest footage of KH3D. KH3 will not be out till at the earliest 2015. This leaves a year in there for another game, the easiest candidate, KH 2.5 HD (or whatever it's called) Let's just hope its still on PS3 for those of us who cannot yet get a PS4.

2013: KH 1.5 ReMIX

2014: FFXV & KH 2.5 ReMIX

2015: KH3
