Real talk? I want Mewtwo basically because of his side B from Melee

I hope they don't change it

Seriously, the side B is SO MUCH FUN to troll people with

I was always planning on getting Smash for my Wii U anyways, so it's nice to get Mewtwo for free

I hope Smash DLC is a good value though. Less Fire Emblem, more Mario Kart

Though Mario Kart tier would be insane, multiple characters, stages, and some other third thing?

Anyway I hope they change Mewtwo's down B and some of his aerial attacks

 

Glare wasn't that effective and his Back air was so weak compared to his front air

 

And yeah I hope Smash's DLC would be like Mario KArt 8's DLC....those DLC packs were insane and I was surprised they would add that much content in it

The demo had favorite of 49 characters, and one out of around 35 stages. The demo doesn't even give players a taste of the full game.

Yeah, the 3DS demo leaves little to be desired. At least 3 stages and a few more characters would've sufficed. 

As has been said earlier, people who get both versions of the game only get him for FREE. He'll be available as paid DLC shortly after.

 He didn't even have to be in the game in the first place, and the team is putting in months of work for this one character. They deserve at least something for that.

Nintendo has money in the bank. Even if the Wii U flops, they still are successful overall. 3DS sales are as good as ever. Games like MK is helping the sales. E3 made things better. SBBU will boost sales even higher. Mewtwo DLC will spark incentive to the 3DS owners.

Is that just in With Anyone, or also With Friends? I doubt I'd really ever hit the limit, but I do enjoy friendly taunt battles from time to time, and fighting people with nothing but Luigi's down taunt is surprisingly intense.

I know, it's such bullshit. Same with the whole automatic banning if you target the same player in 3/4-player matches thing. Like I know Nintendo wants to make online accessible for younger people and not feel like they're being bullied, but this is a fighting game. Making people salty is just one of the things that goes into it. lolBesides, one of the reasons I use Mr. Game & Watch is because of his cacophonous taunts so how can I show off my love for one of my favorite characters when his best attribute is limited? smh

Why does Nintendo deserve something just because they released the game before they finished a character? Nintendo is a company. They're not OWED anything. They just want your money. Either pay them or don't, there's no reason to go moralizing about it.

Are you talking about Mewtwo? What makes him minor? He's a beloved oft-requested character being put behind a pay wall, that's only minor if you were planning on getting both games anyways and thus he was a free bonus

RIP trolling players online. I remember doing that in Brawl with players I didn't know, but our reason was because we wanted stuff such as sudden death or just do silly things, but one wouldn't get the message. It ironically made it more fun just by targeting that one player. Besides, what if it's stock match and one player has been camping? Pretty sure everyone's going to think "oh he's going to win by doing nothing but run. Let's go after him." Tho I don't think Wii U's version will have random matches on stocks, but still stick to the minute rules.

I thought that only happened in For Glory if you do more than 2 taunts consecutively. It sucks honestly. :

I doubt it holds with Friends, since if they allow customs, they probably dont have a taunt restriction.

Agreed, strategically you'd go after the opponent you know you can take out.

Good luck, someone's always gonna start shit. It's pretty upsetting that some people have to go out of their way to burden others with their childish problems. If only we could all enjoy things for what they are and not how they sell. Oh, that'd be the day.

Shulk's one of the characters who I feel weird using an alternate costume for, to be honest. I always use default Shulk and Ness.

I use it because the color scheme is beautiful.....plus I have a huge preference for the colors orange and green. That also gives you an idea of which alt I use for Ness.

I like a lot of his alternate costumes, I just prefer the normal one. That's just how I am for the characters from story-based RPGs that I really like, I guess.

That's understandable. I mean, I can't even use the Mario or Luigi alts because they just dun look right to me outside of their regular outfits. Bowser's the same. I'd use an alt for Yoshi, had they put an Orange one in. Instead, I believe we have two tones of blue...outside of the individual colors.
