I know I'm posting way too many KH3 topics lately, but...

These are all actually really great ideas! I'm curious what the second type of enemy would be though, since Nomura's confirmed that the Nobodies are gone.

I wonder if they are going use Passion/Sanctuary for the opener. I am tired of Hikari and Simple and Clean.

Usually the games after KHCoM use Passion/Sanctuary and the others Hikari/ Simple and Clean. Idk.

And the FMVs, I thought I was the only one that hated that. I hope it is like KH2. I clean my room and let the music play.

I'm pretty sure we will get a different Dearly Beloved all the KH except for KHCoM had a different Dearly Beloved.

I hope they get a new orchestral theme. Something that sounds like Caius Ballad's Theme in FFXIII-2.

Maybe a sad ending. I wouldn't be surprised if we see Sora sacrifice himself to save Ventus, Roxas, and Xion. This could possibly lead to a new direction for subsequent KH titles, one where you control Riku with Mickey on your team, as you search for a way to bring Sora back.

This. This. This. Oh my God. This. Like please. Thanks.

All your other points were good, too, but oh God yes to this one! <3

Edited by FightTheDarkness

Those are pretty much all the points I'm thinking of too, but I'm hoping for a happy ending though some cliffhangers/unresolved conflicts would be fine. Please no repeats of ffxiii-2! Also I would like a bit more manageable battle than simply being hectic with enemies in every corner. I really liked the cure mechanic in kh2 for this effect.

He did?! :O where was this?

He did?! :O where was this?

I remember reading it in one of the KHIII interviews here on KH13, don't remember which one.

As far as I know he basically confirmed the opposite in an interview. They asked if this was the end of Organization XIII and the Nobodies and he said it is the end of Organization XIII but not the nobodies.

I know he said in this interview that "he didn't know about the Nobodies" when asked if it's the end of "Organization XIII and Nobodies as characters". He probably hasn't decided, and is leaving the door open. In my opinion it stands to reason that so long as Heartless exist there's the possibility of Nobodies, as one is a byproduct of the other.

Good point. My memory sucks, so it's possible I screwed something up there. xD Sorry to anyone I possibly misinformed.

Yeah, that's the one I was referring to! :P

I definitly agree with synthesis/ultima point. I like finding the synthesis items to build the ultima keyblade not beating some secret boss that I can find a cheap way to beat.

I absolutely agree with you on all of these (although I'm not as picky about the FMV bit  :P), especially the time-travel part. It's so rarely done well and so often used as a quick and dirty way to fill in plot holes that I honestly hope that it is not necessary.

  • Multiple types of enemies, like KH2. (As in: heartless and nobodies, as opposed to just heartless) But, in addition, it would be cool to see the enemies be fighting each other too. Like, I'd like to walk up to an area, trigger the spawning of some shadows and dusks, but also have the dusks attacking the heartless while we're all mixed up in the brawl. I don't even care if they do actual damage to each other. But it would help increase the hectic nature of the battle, just to see them going at it.

Okay so everybody is expecting Ventus to be awaken from his sleep right? and knowing Sora's abilities to  bring people back "What If" by mistake Vanites is revived too? and therefore causing the unversed to be added to the already known mainstream enemies to defeat.

Edited by Arthur Twining Hadley

And well duh Vanitas added too as one of the main bosses aiding Xehanort. It will make sense considering that in the KH universe nobody really dies. xD (Main Character Wise)

Well, since Vanitas is returning, and he can control Unversed, I'm pretty sure it's just going to be Heartless and Unversed.

They never stated Vanitas was returning, unless I'm forgetting something. He just made that one cameo in DDD, but I think that had something to do with Ven's heart.

Xehanort has the power to extract anyone from any moment in time as he pleases, so him returning is a given.I doubt they introduced his character for nothing.

That's a good point. Of course, we won't know for sure until KHIII comes out. We'll have to wait and see what's coming! :D

Yeah, too bad it's still such a long time from now. >.>It'll be the best feeling in the WORLD to finally not have to wait for this game anymore, such a burden lifted...I can't believe how long it's been since KH 2. I was in middle school when I was hyped for KH 3, and I'm already almost done with a two-year degree. -_- BS. Time went by pretty quickly, I guess, though it seems to go MUCH slower after they announce a game lol...

Square Enix is getting attached to the time travel thing . First was Final Fantasy XIII - 2 than Kh3D...

I was able to wait with the other KH games, KHIII definitely has me hyped up, though. xD Now comes that long wait after the announcement. Gives me time to get a PS4, I guess.

Synthesis really needs to come back. I hate how it goes all "Defeat secret boss and get this awesome new keyblade". No synthesis where it needs to be because it makes the game a bit more challenging.

  • Maybe a smoother version of FlowMotion (or flight, which Nomura seemed to be implying)

This would be great. Maybe not as powerful as it was in DDD. It would make sense not to be as powerful because they were in a dream world after all.

  • Fluid joint-attacks with Donald and Goofy- like, it would be cool to

have a regular combo attack chain into a quick burst of magic from

Donald and Sora combined, which would then chain into the next hit of a

    combo

This is my favorite part. This is brilliant. I would love that so much. It would also be great if the larger the combo you do the more damage it does.

  • Synthesis. And Synthesis needs to be how you get the Ultima weapon

IMO. No "beat this enemy, get Ultima" crap that we got in the last 3

games. Like, it fit fine with those, but I don't want to see it again.

Synthesis is great I do love it. I'd like them to bring it back for items and then bring back melding for abilities.

  • A new theme, and an orchestral version of that theme that plays over

a 'trailer' of sorts (like in KH1 and 2 when you left the main menu

open for about two minutes or so)

I'm sure there will be a new one. It seem they do that for numbered titles. I would rather her an old one than a bad one though.

  • Maybe a sad ending. I wouldn't be surprised if we see Sora sacrifice

himself to save Ventus, Roxas, and Xion. This could possibly lead to a

This one I do not want. I want there to be a happy ending. We already had to save Sora in the last game. I don't think we need a repeat.

That would be pretty great. Some entertaining things could happen. xD I think it would be great if they also had unversed in the mix as well. Hell throws some nightmares in the mix too. I want massive battles with a variety of enemies.

  • Rehashed music pieces. No, I don't think they're gonna make a

re-hashed soundtrack, but I remember hearing rehashed KH1 tracks in BBS

and rehashed BBS tracks in 3D. And no, I'm not talking about the

re-orchestrations and remixes, those were fine. Like, consider after

Terra's final battle in BBS, that theme from the end of KH1 (the one

where Ansem SoD dies) plays as Terra kneels back down. No changes to the

track, no musical differences, nothing. It was the exact same track,

which made the scene less climactic because it made me think of that

point where it plays in KH1, as opposed to what I was actually looking

at. Now, if there's one of these here and there, like in KH2, where you

would hear the occasional but very well-placed KH1 track, that's fine. I

just don't want to hear so many of them like I heard on the handheld

titles. (although admittedly, Ventus's theme was a great choice for that

scene before Sora's final battle in DDD)

I think the music i bound to be amazing. It would be great if they had some hints to things in the music of the game. Like to show that Terra is still a part of Xehanort they could have Terra's theme mixed in with some music when Xehanort is reciting poetry or something like that. :P

  • I don't want to have the FMV theme play before the menu opens, at

the beginning of the game, and also if you leave the menu open for too

long. Example: Birth By Sleep: When you boot up the game, the FMV and

theme play. If you leave it on the main menu for a couple minutes, the

same clip plays. And then when you start a new game, that same clip

plays AGAIN. Now again, this was one thing that was fine for the console

that it was on, as they only had so much space they could use. But I

want KH3 to be like 1 and 2 in this area. I want to be able to boot up

the game, have it go straight to the menu, leave it on for a bit and

have some orchestral version (as I previously mentioned) play over some

cutscene footage, then finally have the actual theme play when I

actually hit "New Game". Maybe I'm being nitpicky, but hey.

Sounds great to me. :) Don't know what else to say about it. haha

  • Abuse of the time travel concept. It worked fine in 3D, but they're

gonna really have to be careful with it if they want it to continue

working. I don't want every plot element to be explained by time travel

in some way or another. The concept has just become too cliche for that.

But again, if they use it in moderation (or even better- not at all),

    then I'd be happy.

I think I am one of the few that love the time travel concept. But I do not want them to abuse it. I would like it to return. But you're right. They shouldn't use it to explain everything. With a good balance the time travel will be great.
