Ever since I preorder the PS4 I was playing all my KH games (I have all of them even RE:CoM and RE:Coded). I found all the secret endings and cried a little. Anyway, but I didn't really know to expect of KH III. I know it's going to be full of surprises and epic fights. I watched the trailer a couple of times and try to think of some things that would happen. So I want to hear other opinions. What are you expecting?

Well think that if course ven terra and aqua will be saved. I think that the x blade will be forged for a time. That sora will discover the data inside himself is very important. It'll have the best OST EVER!! The final battle will be between sora vs xeahnort overall it's kinda hard to say I'm expecting so much.

I expect an amazing show of epic badassery in the form of an Isa vs Lea showdown . Believe it !

Well, i know that the character models are going to be waaaaay more advanced, the shading and detail overall is going to get a brush up for sure.

 

The battle system looks like a huge improvement on the kh 2 battle system we all know so well and nomura himself said that there is a playable version atm and it kills.

npcs join in battle in various worlds and there will be air battles and such in the mix as well.

 

as for what i expect.....

EVERYTHING!!!

I expect Sora to save TAV.  

I expect Roxas, Xion and Namine to  be given their own being and person instead of just being nobodies and a replica

I expect one of the "good guys" whether that be a main or Disney Character to be a darkness surprisingly.

I expect Eraqus to come back in some form.

I expect CO to be a world, and turned back into the Land of Departure.

I expect a clash between Lea and Isa (Friends V Friends seems common trauma)

I expect MX to die, obviously, end of his saga.

I don't expect all the darknesses to be killed.  I could see one or two being "reverted"/"unnorted" after a battle.

I expect the X-blade to be forged and this allows us to finally see Kingdom Hearts for the first time, and we're left with a cliff hanger soon after.

I expect a very vague secret boss that possibly hints the future villain of the series, but is so vague we don't even notice until the next villain is revealed.

I want Zack to reappear.  

Disappointment in both terms of storytelling and game-play, hopefully I'm wrong. Also it'll have secret ending that to most people will makes no sense.

A final showdown so epic it'll make my brain explode and my heart weep....also some form of action that will make me cheer/scream at my TV would be much appreciated Seriously though, I'm expecting:

 

-Ven, Aqua, and Terra's return

-Sora remembering Xion

-Roxas and Namine doing...stuff....I dunno, but they'll be there

-Sora facing a difficult trial when allowing everyone else's memories to surface

-Final Fantasy action

-KH majestically appearing

-A super long final battle between Sora and MX

-Something unexpected

-A surprise in the ending clips that'll lead to another game

Nothing much in terms of story. In terms of gameplay i'm expecting the combo system to be even better than it was in KH2/KH2FM because in my opinion, it's the only game that made the combos right. I'm also expecting battles to be as fluid as they were in KH2 and an incredible magic system that flow beautifully with physical attacks.

I would expect Aqua and Ven to just suck tremendous balls.

 

Even if they are "rescued", won't they just be god awful Keyblade wielder/master(s) by then?

This about it...

 

Aqua has been in the Realm of Darkness for about 11 years now.  She has yet to reunite with her Keyblade.  She hasn't used it in at least a decade.  I know there's such a thing as muscle memory and probably Trollmura will do some bullshit like her heart still remembers, but there is no way she is as good as she was back then and that wasn't even that great to begin with.

Ven has been in a room sleeping for 11 years.  His muscles must be all gone by now, I doubt he'll properly be able to wield one for a bit.I feel like Nomura will completely just ignore all of this and pretend like a whole firetrucking decade was nothing.

 

I don't know, I feel like they're later pieces in the game.

For story, everyone else has pretty much said everything. Sora saves eryone, MX defeated, etc. As for gameplay, I hope it's like KH2 with commands mixed in.

I agree with a lot of you but here is my key points.Ventus, Aqua, Terra... savedFinal battle between Sora and MX with Sora's heart earning the χ-blade from MX and defeating him

Sora using the χ-blade to access the real Kingdom Hearts and give a ''real life'' to Roxas, Namine and have 3 nice friendship triangles, Sora-Riku-Kairi, Ven-Terra-Aqua, Roxas-Lea-Namine.Some actual romances

And finally, a battle with 100K heartless on screen!

the paopu fruit just means the two people will never forget each other, it doesnt mean that a loving relationship has to start, it could just mean they will forever be friends, i do think however it would be nice if the relationship between sora and kairi did develop but square have no obligation to do that atm lol.
