You can't imagine how ticked I get when people say "that sucks!" when they have no idea what the game is.

 

I have a friend who is like that, he's turned off by colorful settings almost, only liking dark and gritty games like COD. However he does like Rayman, which is a plus.

"E" doesn't stand for "Ekids", but "Everyone" Some people really need to understand that... Also, it's ironic how most people who seem to play M games are younger than 17 (M = 17+), and a lot of adults/older teens play "kid" games.

I think it's meant to show that the people that say the games suck are jerkish about it when they say it. You know, a metaphorical slap across the face.

Seriously, you can count the number of colors in this screenshot on one hand. And just for clarification, you can be grim dark and gritty while still being vibrant, colorful, and visually appealing. 

 

 

That's a 30 ton super soldier who only knows how to fight, pray, and hate using a Chainsword to slice this poor Ork's head in half. If that's not grim-dark I don't know what is.

Or Mother 3, which although is a colorful, brigh, cheery Nintendo title, is indredibly depressing.

Ugh. There are kids in my class that say it's childish too.

One of them just HAD to look up an image and immediately judge it, calling it childish.

I wore a Kingdom Hearts II shirt to school. Some kids thought it was Poke`mon. WHAT THE HEARTLESS? I sometimes feel so left out because the guys that let girls talk to him might not know what it is or think it's stupid.

Whenever I try to explain Kingdom Hearts to someone they are automatically turned off by the Disney aspect.

 

"Disney is for little kids! So it sucks!"

 

Either that, or I don't even get a chance to explain.

I don't talk about games anymore when, I'm near friends...only one friend and my brothers understand why I enjoy games like, kingdom hearts even though they have zero interest in it.
