hi! as you know ive loved kh for a long time. now i just keep thinking that i will stop liking it (as always) but this time i have a reason. maybe it will just become nostalgic for me instead of actually liking it. im actually wondering if thats happening now. i just looked back to see if i still liked it and i did but i dont as much as i used to. this might be becouse ive seen all the cutscenes like 3 times each (like 6 for kh2) but i still dont want to get tired of it. i like it but i was thinking "is this just notalgia?" i hope this problem goes away once kh3 comes out. what do you think?

I was afraid of me losing interest in kh but everytime I see something related to kh reminds me why I like this game so much.

HD 1.5 ReMIX's English version is going to be amazing. I can't wait to enjoy it, and relive memories of Kingdom Hearts and finally play Re:Chain of Memories.

you over think things way to much if you want to like something like it. Overthinking just makes things more complicated

A lot of people end up praising games and ignoring their faults primarily if they interested with the series at a young age and it brought them happiness.  It's not a crime to let nostalgia swing your vote in what you want to play or recommend (unless you're like a gaming website that does reviews and all you kinda have to be unbias).  When you get older though (unless you seriously hold some nostalgic love for it).  The only thing is with nostalgia it's barely gonna turn you away, it'll make you want to play it for the sake of old times sake.  I got into KH when I was 12 so I really didn't have any nostalgic feelings for it (games I feel nostalgic about are ones I remember from early childhood like 4 & 5, OoT, Banjo Kazooie, Mario 64, Sonic Heroes, MK&Ash Sweet Sixteen and license to drive)

I started kh around 6 years, old and since then it has been and will forever be one of the main reasons I play video games.I was always into video games but games like kh just boosted my love for over 9000.

If you have feelings of nostalgia for the game, it'll just make you play it more rather than just enjoyment because people love fulfilling the feeling of nostalgia

I'm afraid you have a disorder called kingdomania. Its an obsession with anything related to kingdom hearts, and i don't know how else to put this but...

i guess but that would also mean that i wouldent be interested in the new titles.

i hope i have this disorder. that would mean id never stop liking it.

Can't it be both? I still like the game for the sake of the game, yet I can't deny the feeling of nostalgia associated with the series.

I do get a little tired sometimes. But it's not like I stop likeing the series, it's my favorite! But sometimes we do need to play something different for a change.

I also asked myself this question some time ago: "Do I still like it? Or it's just the memories of liking the series?" But then KH3D came, and I was so happy! I understood that we do get tired of seeing the same stuff over the years, and we have to see and play different and new series, but I know I'm still a huge fan of KH.

Didn't you feel like VERY HAPPY when that teaser of KH3 came by? I know I did. I freaked out! The new stuff show how you care that everything's moving on just like we always wanted. And some time will pass and you'll feel like playing everything again.

Just a little something as well: nostalgia doesn't mean you don't like it anymore! It means you care a lot about something, and you miss it! That's what I think anyway

It's an unfortunate illness that so many fall victim to. All you can do is let it run its course and just devote yourself to Kingdom Hearts.

I don't think I'll ever get tired of it per say, but taking a break from the series sounds like a much better choice of words. Kingdom hearts will always be on my top 10 thing I enjoy as entertainment in my life.

Nostalgia plays a big part for me, but ever since the news of 1.5 and 3 I think my liking for it has been revived.

Sometimes I feel the same way. I feel like this is getting old and I want something new. But then I listen to the music or do done other kingdom hearts related thing and I remember the reasons I like it so much.

I'm going to experience both simultaneously while playing Kingdom Hearts Final Mix.

I will be having nostalgia since KH1 is the only game I'll completely finish.

I had the same feeling when I played KH2 recently it doesn't feel as fun as the first time. But I still like it and play it a lot.
