There are two things I noticed about this scene that are a little strange.

 

 

 

 

1. Kairi can totally fit through those bars. I don't know if this says more about Kairi not being able to rescue herself, or about the Organization for not really thinking the whole prison thing out.

 

2. Saix walks in front of the cell, says one sentence after Kairi interrupts him... and then walks right back the way he came. Did he just... lose interest in walking to the other side of the hall?

1. Probably magic barrier their on the cell like the one they put up to stop riku and kairi from helping in the saix boss fight.

That's exactly what I was about to say,you took the words right out of my mouth

Technological based reason: couldn't be annoyed to create extra bars

I would also accept the reasoning that they didn't realize they screwed up on the bars until it was too late, and now Saix is forced to constantly walking down the hallway to make sure Kairi isn't just walking out.

That doesn't explain why he has to walk when the Organization are known for teleporting everywhere through their dark portals. 

If you hack the game, you'll see there's no way out of that area unless you can make a portal.

1. The cells were proabably meant for big creatures, and since they had no little cells, they had no choice but to put her in there.

The only thing I found as odd was the cell color. I mean it's purple and pink, while the rest of the castle is white and blue. Marluxia must've painted before he went to C.O.

Lets just pretend corridors of darkness can't be opened in purple and pink rooms, now the cell being purple and pink makes sense! Since I think heartless can use CoD, and probably boss grade heartless are what they were designed to hold, you need them to be anti CoD.

Though obviously the cell can't hold organization members any better than it could hold Kairi.

 

Edit: They can be opened into the cell... WHY!??!  Though it was opened from the outside in not the inside out.

 

And it appears the cell is floating.
