KH2FM has 231 more cutscenes than HD 1.5 ReMIX

Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix has a grand total of 642 cutscenes with 45 sadly not included in Theatre Mode.

 

Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 ReMIX has a total of 411. This covers every single cutscene in Kingdom Hearts Final Mix, Re:Chain of Memories, 358/2 Days and the credits.

    Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 ReMIX has a total of 411. This covers every single cutscene in Kingdom Hearts Final Mix, Re:Chain of Memories, 358/2 Days and the credits.

     

    How much more work did they put in KH2FM? That's a whole lot.

    Nope. KH2FM is far longer. More than double the length of KHFM.

    Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 ReMIX will have about 1,000 cutscenes!!!

     

    Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix has a grand total of 642 cutscenes. While Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep Final Mix has just under 300. Kingdom Hearts Re:coded has only 12 on the Nintendo DS but just like 358/2 Days they'll remake a lot of the text bubble scenes as cutscenes.

    'Cause adding that to 1.5 HD would probably take some time. Whether there is a theater mode or not in that particular game isn't really all that important.There are still plenty of cutscenes within KH1.

    Square Enix didn't start Theatre Modes until KH2FM+.

    They had enough of time I guess. And what they need time for that? It is just copying cutscenes.

    Oh well I  make multiple saves not only for cutscenes also for battles.

    They mixed the music and they remaster it in better color.

    So it is clearly not that they couldn't edit the game.

    Neither of us knows how much time goes into setting up a theater mode. Maybe it doesn't take that much time and they just didn't bother to add it, or it takes quite some time to add it.

    That wasn't Sora96's point at all. You asked why KH1 didn't have a theater mode and he pointed out that several other games didn't have it either.

    Yes I know it came after KH2FM but still.

    If they did all these things. I think they have much space for it with re:com.

    I meant compared to ReMix as a whole, but yeah, that is full on. I haven't played Kingdom Hearts 2 in ages, really keen for 2.5

    All games in HD 2.5 ReMIX already have a Theatre Mode. Sadly 45 of those 642 cutscenes are not included.
