....Well then

I ain't gonna judge it until I play it

Then by that logic FFXIII-2 and Lightning Returns shouldn't exist either.

Anyway, I like FFX-2. It's a nice, light change of pace with the storyline considering how depressing FFX was and doesn't take itself seriously. The real-time battle system and job changing system during battles was really cool and fun. Even if it's not a "necessary" game, you can say the same thing for a lot of sequels.

I myself really liked FFX-2. I'm actually surprised you didn't bring up the overload in fan-service, which I honestly didn't mind...because I didn't notice it until my friends brought it up. Anyways, I like to look at the big picture: As a game, it's good. As a sequel, it's iffy. I still say it's not even close to FFX's greatness, but it's still good.

and here I thought he was only mad about the ending.

That game completely ruined what made the ending of Final fantasy X great. Final Fantasy X-2 should have never been thought of or made into a game. I don't like how they gave Yuna a personality change and two guns as new weapons. That ruined what made Yuna such a great character. And I don't like the new music that they made in that game. it doesn't sound Final fantasyish to me. I also don't like how there are multiple endings in the game. You know a game is terrible when it has to have more than one ending like with Shadow the Hedgehog (the game), and Star Fox Command. Those games were terribad because of the crappy storyline and endings. And the absolute worst part is that they brung back Tidus. That was the biggest part of why FFX's ending was the greatest and most emotional ending in any Final fantasy game out there. Now when I look at that ending I'm all like "Don't worry Yuna you'll see him again in X-2". I know I'm pointing out all the obvious since a lot of people also hate X-2 but I just wanted to put this out there. What was Square thinking when they decided to make this game?

To be fair, they should Tidus coming back at the very end of FFX... Otherwise, I agree. I think that X-2 should've still happened, but in a completely different way. As a sequel, I believe it should have the same tone as the original. However, this was not what was done with X-2. Giving Yuna guns, and the addition of dress spheres are the two major points that ruined X-2. However, the one that ruined it the most was the multiple endings. IT'S FINAL FANTASY, it should have ONE consistent story! Shadow the Hedgehog was one of my favorite Sonic titles on the ps2, but the multiple story aspect just made me confused. Is he an Android? Is he NOT an Android? Just tell us! But yeah. I need ONE ending, one true ending.

It's better than XIII-2.

the gameplay in itself is fine...but the story is absolute whoreshit(Yeah I know it's horseshit but I pronounce it this way)

Try to watch Spoony's review of it....that review was hilarious

It's better than XIII-2.

It's worse than XIII-2 and I myself think XIII-2 is lightyears better than the original XIII

XIII-2 as well, XIII had flaws but at least it had a happy ending and XIII-2 screwed it up

XIII-2's story and puzzles were awful.

i completely agree, ffx was perfect in every way...and then a sequel happened

X-2 was complete crap, I couldn't even get 5 hours into it. :/

I stopped paying attention to the story after a while cuz I thought the gameplay was okay

XIII-2's story and puzzles were awful.

Well,each to his own

I still think X-2 and the original XIII are the bottom of what the main series can offer

X-2 has the worst story

XIII has over 30 hours of nothing but Hallways and scripted level up system

I don't know what the gameplay is like, maybe its good maybe not,but its really hard for me to give this game a chance.I understand why Yuna changed so much, but this is just ridiculous and I didn't like Rikku back in the original so making her a main character really make me lost interest in the game and all the characters I cared about from the original are all gone(including Yuna).

That's why it would have been great to have a prequel instead

Yeah it was a shame. I didn't know anything about X-2 when I got it so as to not spoil myself. I was really confused at first. Honestly to me it is non-canon.

"You know a game is terrible when it has to have more then one ending" SMT/Persona would like to have a word with you.Anyway, I like the dresspheres, I like the change in tone, I like that Yuna became more cheerful. I pretty much like everything you hate about it. It would have been boring for me if it were more like X. I loved X, but a sequel that does everything the same as the original is just no fun for me. I don't see in how FFX-2 in any way shape or for invalidates or devalues the original. Sure it wasn't as good, but for me it was nowhere near as horrible as your making it out to be. It may not have been necessary, but then most sequels in any franchise aren't and it was still an enjoyable experience for me. Can't wait for HD.

I didn't like Square Enix movements that much from that day...

XIII-2's story and puzzles were awful.

So just because you hate the puzzles in the game, you dislike XIII-2 more then X-2? Alright then, your opinion. But the story is still good in XIII-2, it may not be as depthful as Xiii, but its not supposed to, its supposed to reflect on how Serah is determined to save Lightning and how Noel is fighting for a better future. I still prefer XIII-2 to the original. The original may have a more depthful story, but at least XIII-2 has a good storuy and mmore NONLINEARITY AND FREEDOM, plus the gameplay is more refined. I like XIII alot, but i prefer XIII-2 to XIII anyday.

There is no way in HELL that X-2 is better....just no

Also,Did I mention that Leblank and her goons in X-2 are a Team Rocket knock-offs

Seriously everytime I see those three I think "PREPARE FOR TROUBLE,MAKE IT DOUBLE"
