dang it, i was going to post the same thing. and i hope so, i've been wanting them to do that for years, but keep the coliseum we need some place for events, but i just want it for that and maybe a few scenes for story.

Yea i really like this idea. I mean you can tell the worlds actual story from the movie and then on top of that have the coliseum and the games. Personally i really like the games because there is a good variety between matches and its also a good place to level up....just sayin

Actually, I think that battle took place where Herc fought off the Hydra for the first time in the movie. In fact, that battle works EXACTLY like that scene too. Replace the Hydra with the Rock Titan, Pegasus with the Thunder Mountain Train, Hercules with Sora and company, and you basically have a battle that is dead similar, only 20% more AWESOME!!

 

Oh, and yeah, I would like a more complete version of Herc's Ancient Greece. There were so many places in that movie they could have explored, but the Underworld was pretty fun too. Maybe they can include the Coliseum, Athens, the Underworld, the rest of Mount Olympus, that canyon where we just saw the Rock Titan at, the Temple of Zeus, and anything else that applies. They should have enough data for bigger worlds without having to compromise on the number of worlds they are allowed.

Why not introduce new worlds like lilo and stitch, atlantis, or something like that. The olympis world is in almost every single game.

This world was one of mine list that must be in it.

That's exactly what I thought. I'm assuming it's the Rock Titan as the Hydra has already been defeated, if I remember correctly (haven't played KH2 in forever).

Yes, it was...and yet it is implied that the movie's events already happened well before Kingdom Hearts...and yet Herc forgot important details like how to PROPERLY kill the Hydra, or what being a true hero is really all about...forgetting stuff seems to be an extremely easy thing to do in this series, isn't it? Especially if you're a Disney character.

True, but the Kingdom Hearts versions of some familiar landscapes have been altered in the past to meet the demands of gameplay. There was a lot more to the sets of movies like Tarzan and Aladdin than there were in the game versions, mostly because they had to reshape things to meet the data limitations of the system. Still, they have a lot more data for this game, but they still might take artistic licence and do as close of a job as they can, without being super accurate. That or they just made up the area, kind of like how their wasn't a Coliseum in the movie...well, not an Olympian one anyway.

As far as I know, the canyon the Hydra was in could have been a dug-in trench within a high-up cliff...but I haven't seen the movie in years, so I can't tell for sure. But between the rocky landscape, the design of the battle, and just the overall epicness of the scene, the Hydra battle was without a doubt the first thing that came to my mind when I saw this battle.

I know that, it feels like yesterday when I last fought it. It'll be nice to fight the Rock Titan again after so long though. The other Titans would be fun to. After all, I prefer my titans NOT eating people, thank you very much. I'm sorry AOT fans, I'm just not into that stuff, it rubs me the wrong way.
