For seven long years I have waited for Kingdom Hearts 3 to be announced and though it was finally announced at E3 this year, I felt little excitement. To put it plain, I've waited too long to care for it.
However at Japan's FIRST EVER D23 Expo, they showed first ever work in progress gameplay. I was highly unsatisfied with not just the gameplay, but fans' remarkably unthoughtful responses. Disney Rides/attractions as Summons, as command menus? Not at all, in fact, I doubt any of what was shown will be in the final product. Why? Because they were Disney Rides or Disney Attractions, built in-game as commemoration to Disney for holding the FIRST EVER D23 Expo in Japan.
I'm unsatisfied because of this and because even the developers are dissatisfied with their own gameplay. None of it was good, in fact, it was understandably clunky in terms of reaction timing. The models for Donald and Goofy, creepily stare into space, Sora's still has a lot of detailing to be done.
Now, as I've said before, it was understandable in terms of why it was not very satisfying at all, due to the fact that it's a work in progess. What I dun understand, is why most of us fans believe it too look good, believe some silly ride or attraction would be a good idea for a summon or something. To me, this is just ridiculously disappointing.

Why aren't we observing instead of fantasizing?
