This...this amazing beautiful piece of music is the most emotional soundtrack you can ever hear in a video game 

 

Oh Final Fantasy IX I love you so much so much close to FFIV ^_^

 

Uematsu is a legendary composer and he deserves every OST related award just for this track alone

To me, 9 is the best Final Fantasy in so many ways.

I'll get around to playing this game sometime.

I usually avoid FFIX's Soundtrack...the feels it gives me are too powerful. One of the best games ever for sure. Definitely the best FF. (This or VI...I'll go with this one. The ending was just perfect)

I've yet to finish FFIX. But unlike VII, or X, or XII or XIII, it's not because I grew tired of it, or because I got stuck... no...

 

I've yet to finish Final Fantasy IX because I'm savoring it. I don't WANT to beat it anytime soon, because I want to make that first magical playthrough last.

I'm only partway through Disc 3, and I can say in earnest that is the most fun I've had with ANY Final Fantasy game. The characters, the story, the setting, the design, my God the music... everything is just a perfect combination of awesome that just makes me happy when I play it.

 

The fact that it's so underrated should be a criminal offense.

I was pissed off when I found it people ditched FF9 only because it wasn't in the same futuristic setting of 7 and 8 and that it didn't have an emo protagonist(I'm sorry,but Cloud and Squall just screams emo)

FFIX is my favorite final fantasy game, amazing soundtrack, I said it before and I say it again Nobuo Uematsu is a genius.

FFIX has the best intro theme of all the FF games and its also my second favorite FF game

FFIX. My favorite FF game...no...my favorite game of all time! Story is beautiful. Characters are beautiful('specially that Vivi). Music is beautiful(as you've shown). Everything is just so...beautiful. Also, this post made me realize how superior this game was when compared to other games in general. I was debating whether or not TWEWY was better or not, but now I've decided. FFIX is my favorite game of all time. It gets a 10/10!

This soundtrack is amazing, I would really like to play this game someday...
