KH13 will be launching a new Kingdom Hearts wiki sometime in the next few months, and we are currently in the planning stages for this new project. We're looking for 1-2 people to join the team at the moment, along with me and Sora96, to help us get started.

 

You don't need to have any technical skills, we just need someone who will be dedicated to the project and will be able to help with planning, research and organisation. Writing skills are a bonus.

I can't promise 24/7 online time, but I'm good at writing, so I guess give me a consideration.

No, this is unrelated to the Wikia website. We're going to make our own, new wiki. It won't use the software that the Wikia uses (MediaWiki), it will use IP.Content, which is like an extension of the forum software we're currently using.

It's a little hard for me to give a definite explanation, since as this is in the planning stages, I don't have a plan But I'll try and give you a good idea

 

Right now, we're doing category planning, which is planning what categories the finished product of the wiki will have. Eg. "Games", "Characters", "Worlds" are some of the upper-level categories, but also going as far as "Map cards", "Mini-games", etc. Once we have a list of categories, we will do some planning for those categories, stuff like making a list of pages for the category, making a template page for a page in the category (basically deciding what we will want on the page), and so on. Eventually we'll decide what parts of the wiki we should launch to the public and ask people to contribute to.

Not so much walkthroughs, although this is something that we may do at a much later date. Think of it more like information pages, which will replace sections like http://kh13.com/games/ on KH13.

I'm interested if you still haven't decided who's doing it, as I've got loads of time on my hands being completely done with college and in-between jobs.

 

It'd really spare me the boredom.

 

I'm pretty much available 24/7.

By the way, it would be very useful if someone has past experience being on the staff at a wiki.

I can help write the articles.

 

EDIT: In all honesty I have never moderated Wikis. So this may be a good chance for me to learn. (Besides I know the drift. Control the information and make sure nothing written is misleading or incorrect)

I'll help out after all I did get information about one character for you before.

I guess I will apply. I am on everyday so that's no problem. Have no wiki experience although would love to have some to go along with my different Mod experiences. Also live in Melbourne (I think thats where you live) so being on the same timeframe will help with team planning and other instances.

I'm up for it. The layout seems simple for a wiki, plus hundreds of hours of game time for accurate entries sounds like a great accomplishment to me.  It'd make a nice walkthrough too and could cover many question threads, since we'd be able to simply search what we have in mind and find out more about it.  That's actually really good for those who've made KH13 their site for everything Kingdom Hearts.

I'd like to help. I haven't staffed a wiki but I am a quick learner. I also have some experience with keeping things organiEd and research? Researching Kingdom Hearts is fun

I would also like to apply for the position! It would be nice to contribute to the wiki since I already enjoy just knowing and sharing the information regarding Kingdom Hearts! I wouldn't say I'm the best writer around here, but my writing skills are pretty good. I have some stories out there and posted some cool things regarding the site, if I remember. It'd be great to officially help out the site. (:

Sorry, been really busy. Now with new year's and other stuff coming up, it'll probably be a week or so into January before I can sort this out.
