Kittenz 4,281 Posted December 9, 2013 A lot of people keep complaining that jiggle physics should be removed entirely from games, but I disagree, it shouldn't have to be a sexual thing, I should just be a small part of realistic animation. They have to actually get it right though, boobs aren't balloons that move all over the place but they aren't completely static either. They move with rest of the body. It's just a small physics thing, but imagine if people left a characters hair completely static, it would be ridiculous. If you want to animate a character realistically their entire body has to obey the laws of physics accurately just like real life. It's not even a sexual thing. But I have to say I hate when people add it for fan service or whatever, it's just stupid. 9 Caity, Dio Brando, Snow and 6 others reacted to this

Javelin434 3,164 Posted December 9, 2013 Every bit of detail counts. Though, some details are more uh... 'visually scrutinized' than other details 1 Kittenz reacted to this

MasterXemnas 2,285 Posted December 9, 2013 Fol. I actually don't really notice jiggle since I don't really look there. So it's fine for me.
DragonMaster 1,166 Posted December 10, 2013 (edited) The developers of the Dead or Alive games need to see this thread. This thread sums up how developers should animate jiggle physics properly in those games. Dead or Alive 5 Ultimate actually lets you choose how you want the... physics to be. There's Off, Natural, and DOA (basically none, natural, or insane). The natural setting (which is the default) is actually pretty realistic from what I've noticed (I don't actively scrutinize the "physics" however). I do agree that that it's pretty obnoxious when the physics are made to be inhumanly bouncy, though. RoxSox 3,593 Posted December 10, 2013 A complete removal of Jiggle Physics isn't called for. Breasts naturally have a bit of movement to them when the person in question maneuvers. It's when games like DOA or Soul Calibur or Ryse or something completely exaggerate the motion that's an issue... whether they intentionallay play it up for the sexual factor or the physics are off. It's just a bit of programming that needs a proper balance. Like other people in here have said, Aqua's breasts in Birth by Sleep were actually really well done. 1 Jilly Shears reacted to this
Buttercup Camera 229 Posted January 7, 2015 I can't really find an example of Aqua's breasts bouncing... o.O The picture doesn't work That's if it is a gif.

Lol they had an entire physics engine dedicated to that
Key Sharkz 69 Posted January 8, 2015 I think the issue of why people get upset is because Square Enix made a big deal about it with Lightning Returns going on about how her boobs and how they made them bigger too, which basically just came off as "buy our game because tits."
